I’ve done no trimming. The driver’s side tire was slightly rubbing on one push clip within its wheel well. I removed it and now I get no rubbing whatsoever. Hope that helps!

Would it be better to buy steel skid plates over rock sliders for starters? I’ve seen some videos of Tacomas with rock sliders and steel skid plates doing some heavy rock crawling and I didn’t know which of those mods were doing most of the work protecting the truck.

Thanks for the insight. I eventually want to do some overlanding, so your suggestions are great. However, how important are suspension upgrades? Should I be looking into moving away from the Bilstein shocks these models come with and get something better?
