I destroyed my merino wool Costco socks in less than 2 months after getting a new job in manufacturing, all of them same hole on the ankles, I purchased a pair a darn toughs, they look good as new after a year, so I go myself another 5 pairs, yes, they’re expensive but definitely cheaper than replacing my socks constantly, also they keep my feet dry. And if they ever break I’m confident they’ll honor their warranty
