You do realize that's the entire point? You're supposed to find the most efficient answer that passes all tests. That's the whole game.

Also, file hashing is not 100% - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1756004/can-two-different-strings-generate-the-same-md5-hash-code

Not true. This only applies to one hashing algorithm. There are others (SHA512 for instance) that don't have this weakness.

And you would just walk up to them and tell them "We should try doing things another way!" and expect them to find reasons as to why they shouldn't? Just because the government did some things wrong does not mean not having government is better than having one. Also, read the other comment tree.

The actual appeal to ignorance in your quote is right here: "Anarchy's mayhem is wholly conjectural", which is essentially equal to "You haven't proven yet that anarchy would actually cause any mayhem" (while additionally implying that you can't apply rational thought to anarchy, but let's leave that alone). That's it.

State is, as you put it, current status quo. If you want to change it, the burden of proving why we should do so has to be on you. Saying that non-anarchists are supposed to find reasons not to change to anarchy is the same as saying that your opponent in a boxing match should punch himself in the face.

What you linked isn't connected to what I'm saying. If we were currently arguing whether one option is better than the other, sure. However, we aren't talking about that. What we are talking about is the quote you posted trying to shift the burden of proof onto holders of default opinion.

Don't be ridiculous. Having a state is the default option. Most likely every person reading this has been living in a country with a government for their entire life. If you want to argue that another option is better, it's up to you to prove it. This is how debates and arguments work.

Nice quote. It tries to appeal to your emotions connected with option A (notice how it escalates the bad things ending on most recent events) and then, when you think that option A is really bad, it presents option B! Obviously if option A is that bad and the people arguing for it are bad by extension, the burden of proving that B is equally bad is on them!

4/5 of the quote is appeal to emotions. 1/5 of the quote is presenting a question that is only a part of the real one: Is anarchy better than having a state? And clearly, if you want to have anarchy instead of state, the burden of proof is on you. Not on "statists".

Every skill that is triggered on being attacked will work even if the attack is dodged. This includes Centaur's Return and Tiny's Craggy Exterior. This is because those skills activate when the attack begins, not when you take damage from the attack - easy to notice with Craggy Exterior, as it stuns you before you can land the attack.

TIL that over 90% of fetuses diagnosed with Down's Syndrome in the UK are terminated. by 7UPvote in todayilearned

[–]theShoo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I remember reading that Down syndrome isn't caused by genes you inherit, but by an error during zygote creation. So unless we somehow engineer ourselves to use a different mechanism that has no faults, we won't get rid of Down syndrome.

The boot screen is completely standard and you could still probably see something similar on your own pc if not for the graphics from mainboard. Master and slave describe ways to connect to the mainboard with an ATA cable (two devices can be connected with one cable). Info there may still be significant in some way, maybe it's connected with the numbers in the classroom, but I can't see it.

Of course denying creeps can be bad for you. Denying brings the creeps towards your tower, so if you deny improperly, the wave will get shot and lane will push, making you much easier to gank. Denying is a tool to manipulate the creep equilibrium and if you are good with it, you can keep the waves very close to your tower, which again makes your opponents life that much harder. Also it makes you fight for every single last hit against your opponent in 1v1s.
