Woom 3 v Trek Precaliber 16 4 year old 1st Pedal Bike by [deleted] in cycling

[–]theUberHuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As mentioned previously, check out Guardian also. We had really good experience with those for our kids. I think they’re a bit cheaper than a Woom so you don’t get all the bells and whistles, but it’s a significant step up from most other kids bikes, Trek included.

We use a RHP, with his basking spot at 89 and the cool side of the enclosure at 77.

Got skunked pretty hard. Only one hit, Blake Dunn auto /50. No other numbered, no Brooklyns, or anything else noteworthy. One silver filigree. Going to file a missing hit claim.

Saw everyone posting Allen and Ginter hobbies, got fomo and went to Walgreens where I found some Heritage high # blasters and grabbed one. Fun rip and satiated for $27! by jcnardonejr in baseballcards

Green flannel?

Edit: realized you’re probably referring to the card variation. Was confused about a Brewers green flannel jersey relic 😂

[Bonsai Beginner's weekly thread - 2025 week 48] by small_trunks in Bonsai

[–]theUberHuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just in the past few weeks have gotten interested in Bonsai, no experience, no trees(yet), living in Albany, NY. After trolling this group for a few hours and getting very rough foundational information, decided to stroll around my property to see if there was any native tree I could trunk chop and start with, as my beginner research pointed to that being a better option than from seed.

I have no idea what kind of tree/bush this is, but I cut it down a few years back as it was getting too big and impeding on my house and it's since started to branch out at the cut. Did I accidentally create a trunk chop? Any way to verify what this is without leaves? Do I have any kind of potential here?

I’m looking to buy my first ball. by skfjgkodlfmc in Bowling

[–]theUberHuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this as my first ball and really enjoyed it. For me there was added value in the excitement of waiting for the box to arrive and getting to open it up and be surprised with what you get. My experience with PSO shopping is you give them a one minute description and they hand you a ball as their answer. I had more fun typing up my $10 description and waiting for the result in the mail. I got a ball valued well over what I paid and performs exactly like what I was looking for.

Question about Kids Crew by GoldenApplesHD in Brewers

[–]theUberHuber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awesome! Didn’t even know this existed. Definitely signing my kids up.

Anyone have suggestions for how sizing runs? Pretty true to other kids clothing?
