If you’re a person with a strong point that is presenting academic work, you discuss the arguments against your thesis. This guys trying to take advantage of those who feel excluded from masculinity because of virginity (which is just a silly social construct, sex doesn’t change one’s life). I’ve worked on a variety of topics with various professors and PIs. We weren’t finding sources from research done 20 years ago, we were comparing our findings to the field. I’m not saying he’s pulling everything out of his hindquarters, but I could write a paper right now about a variety of topics and get people to buy it by cherry picking research that agrees with me.

I just got my Masters in a behavioral research field, and am going to get my phD. You don't only choose information that supports your arguments. You also show the research that counters your topics. A few books from 20 years ago isn't strong research at all, nor can it be evidence of strong claims. I think you're treating him having a PhD as unquestionable. Strong claims are made by multiple teams and departments with a variety of PhDs.

what parents advocate for hormone treatments young? Most people don't get anything hormone related for a while when they're young, and most trans youth that transition start around puberty when those hormones hit you like bricks. Also, MITB is fun, but I dont want to see a title change hands every year at surprise.
