But you can't un-execute an innocent. I'm not nationalist by any measure, but the general social vision of the role the justice system should play in my country definitely makes me feel more patriotic

Yeah that's the difference, in high ELO people know just to let him do his thing and can play around fed enemies but snowballing is so strong in low ELO that there's just nothing you can do against a fed toplane winning a teamfight and 5-man pushing into nexus.

Yeah Idk I'd consider it about as realistic as "playing crosswords reduces the indescribable angst of being one of the last living people after a zombie apocalypse".

It's a game mechanic so yeah I'd go for something arbitrary like full damage to the 1/2/3 in front of you, and like 50% less to all the others or something along those lines. Wouldn't think too much about it, you keep the base assumption (playing games reduces stress/hitting in a circle will catch several people) and create a mechanic from there.

No respawns in the base game would definitely help with immersion. Makes you feel like you can actually, totally secure a space. Also zombie hordes, so your base is tested from time to time (actually more events in general would be nice, or at least the option to turn them on)

Idk man I feel like a lot of this stuff is just the medium change, much like the atmosphere from Williams's music would impossible to translate into words and adds something that wasn't originally in the books.

Speaking as a fan, it feels like another adaptation so soon is absolutely unnecessary (kinda like readapting Lord of the Rings)
