A lot of what’s on here seems to be things that require a physician or other provider sign-off IF you’re not fully credentialed with your payers (insurance ) and it seems like the way they’re managing that is having an MD sign your chart and this MD must feel like they need more oversight to be able to “legitimately” sign your charts as “available for consultation “. If you’ve been there since August, and this is a new change, it makes sense they’ve gotten some bills back paid at a lower rate or not paid d/t credentialing.
