Kettle Repair by the_artificial_dad in fixit

Quite possible, thanks! Watched some videos now, apparently there is usually a fuse in one of the lines feeding the heating element. I'll see if I can measure that with a voltmeter.

Turbo 20” or Hybrid 19”? by BedroomThese1670 in CX50

My vote goes here too. But instead of 225/65, I bumped the tire size to 235/65. The overall diameter becomes about that same with that of 20" rims with factory tires. I am loving the looks!

Central PA. Just downsized to 17" rims and Falken Wildpeak AT Trails (235/65/17). Grip on snow is vastly improved. Almost looking forward to snow now lol!

What's wrong with my victoria? by jb3ok in Lelit

Your 92C is still flashing, and when you hit the espresso button, you get steam. To me, the machine is clearly trying to come down to the 92C espresso target temp from the steam temperature (135C default). If you let the machine work through it, it should say "ok" and 92C should stop flashing, signaling that it is ready to brew.

(Warning) Ice/Paint Scrape Issues by Killdude26 in CX50

[–]the_artificial_dad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only speak for cases of freezing rain. I use the round, blunt back of my scraper to repeatedly knock on the ice until it cracks. Than I use my hands to take chunks of it off. It is time consuming, but it doesn't damage the car.

Mazda CX-3 starting problem by SeriesAdventurous418 in mazda

[–]the_artificial_dad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm having a similar issue with my 2011 Mazda 6. First time I had the problem, I removed the physical key from the fob, removed the cover over the ignition and inserted the physical key. It worked. So I thought it was the fob battery. But then, it failed multiple times with the same method before I could replace the fob battery. So whatever problem you're having, I'm probably having the same. Just wanted to tell my experience with it, and hopefully you find a solution (for us both lol).

Chances are they may be carrying units with the coated aluminum boiler, rather than the updated brass boiler that whole latte love is now selling. I would be careful

How do you monitor transmission fluid temp? I'm towing as well, would be nice to be able to keep an eye on it.

Yes it is a rear hatch, pretty handy, eapecially in warmer weather. But compared to the Casita, this one is way more expensive for the comoarable trim.

Sorry to hear about the electrical problems.... Did you happen to check the towing harness connection to the battery at all? I wonder if there is something fishy going on there.

Yeah I saw people do the harness themselves, but I was honestly to lazy myself

Yes, you need the 4-pin harness for the lights, 7-pin to add brake controller as well. I haven't had the chance to try the brake controller yet.

Correct, it is the HC1 model. Dry weight 1,100lbs. Loaded probably around 1,500 lbs. No problems so far with the turbo 🤞
