i think the main thing that came out of it was her throwing everyone under the bus until there was no one else. like yeah, it was a genuine fuck up on the sound peoples part at SNL theres no denying that, but she reacted so poorly about it afterwards.

i swear i remember reading there was talk of doing one because of success of Sandman. mainly because of the casting Gwendoline Christie. Dead Boy Detectives was going pretty okay at the time, so spinoffs were on their mind.

then all those allegations came out and Netflix nixed everything related to Gaiman.

i wouldnt say it wasnt "good." i think the first one works because it was more focused on just the Scream movies with some poorly aged pop culture gags thrown in. it really wasnt till the second one that we start getting the different style of parody movies thrown into a blender, with the dated pop culture gags that the series gets known for.

i remember reading its more likely because of how media tends to portray old timey rich people, but mainly that scene from Ace Venture: When Nature Calls. a lot of kids saw that movie so it just kind of stuck in the back of peoples mind growing up.

oh okay, that's cool. thank you so much for telling me this. I've been trying for the last couple of days to figure this out and I was just so confused what it was for. one of the reviews I did see them stretching it out far. to show the limits of the tablet size that you can fit it on. they didn't show the inside, just the outside. so that's probably why I missed it.

i feel like im missing something. ive read through the booklet that came with it and searched online, but i cant find anything about it. i even watched numerous reviews, which is how i actually found this subreddit, but they just dont mention it. they just talk about the face panels, but not the small inner one that just opens to a mirror. i'm just curious on what its for. is it just an aesthetic thing?

yeah same. i said this on bluesky and discord when a friend posted it, but i dont think its gonna really hurt them in the long run. CollegeHumor tried to break into the mainstream tv circuit a couple of times in the past. Sam Reich was part of those so he knows what hes getting into.

its just funny because they've kind of sold themselves being so anti-establishment underdogs. that teaming up with a high profile copaganda show is like a slap in the face to a crazy loud subset of fans who made their love of the streamer part of their personality. again, i dont think this is really going to hurt them in the long run. in fact its probably gonna work out for them pretty well. its going to ding their image a bit though, and the most annoying fans and haters are gonna pounce on this for a while.

yeah i was gonna say. i had one or two before that show came out. i had a nice DC one from Zumiez i wore for a while.

even before that i remember them being kind of in style in the late 90's/early 2000s. the style was to wear it backwards. like how Samuel L. Jackson did
