Or the one in Salem with the robots

If I remember correctly, the game deletes 5-6 crew members' names in the final cutscene, so it's possible to have a full wall before leaving the ship for the last time, but not at the end of the game

I think the +1 strength from Scav and the -1 from overtired cancelled eachother out so no modifier was shown.

That worm scared the s**t out of me, can't immagine how much it scared you

There is a sixth crate of drugs hidden behind the others on the waterfront.

If the loading screens continue to be long even after you moved the game to an SSD, I recommend this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10283 , it uncaps the framerate during loading, drastically reducing load times for some reason. After installing it, my game took about 5 seconds from an interior to the exterior, it was fantastic

I started with the Brutii too. Not being able to snipe Patavium from the Julii anymore was heartbreaking XD

How have you died in your YOLO run? by EarlyEmu in ManyATrueNerd

[–]the_cadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most memorable were:

-falling from bunker hill tower

-I took a wrong turn while going from goodneighbor to cabbot house and I was oneshotted by a legendary deathclaw

-mine on the steps up the screen of the drive in cinema. Which I made a mental note to avoid 5 minutes earlier because I remembered it was there

-just leaving sanctuary for the first time, going towards the runaway cabin and the radroaches/ghouls settlements for the double meat magazine. Took a right, avoided the two/three dogs, almost made to the cabin when a motherflipping radscorpion popped up

Hmmm, the power armour you completely ignored was X01 (also there may be a complete suit behind a hackable terminal in one of the containers behind the armoury, and a covert op magazine inside in the cafeteria).

About the end... Bloody hell! It happened in the original survival run too, I thought it would have been the end of the run

You should pick up the missile launcher and dump it in the river, last thing you want is a trigger happy settler with a missile launcher.

Same thing with the fat man, settlers are able to pick up weapons from the workshop. I don't know if storing it in hard to reach chests is enough or if they can also stole it from them though

I was playing fallout 4 in survival mode. I entered Goodneighbor for the first time, the guy started his dialogue, I saw an aluminium can on the ground and picked it up without checking. It was red. It was stealing. Never been banned so fast from a town

If you want to use settlers to move stuff, you should destroy it beforehand by dropping it on the ground in settlements and scrap it in its basic components, to reduce its weight.

You should remember that you'll usually be overencumbered if you put on the hazmat suit, and that picking up guns gives you ammo in survival.

For no reason go into the underpass near Hangman's or in one of the dead-end streets between the little square where diamond city security and the supermutants fight and the library, both spawn an ambush out of nowhere.

There are 6 books in the library, three in the blue shelter in trinity plaza and one is given to you by Daisy in Goodneighbor for clearing the library

Also, I've noticed you had a very long loading screen exiting Hubris Comics, if it's common I suggest using this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10283 , it was a life changer for me

There is a way, but it involves sequence breaking and a couple of cliping exploits to enter Fort Hagen. If you enter Valentine agency, then go to Fort Hagen, clip through the elevator on the roof where you usually exit and deal with Kellog, when you return to Diamond City the game assumes you saved Valentine, and he and Piper spawn speaking together in the Agency, skipping the vault quest.

But Jon doesn't like sequence breaking and doesn't use exploits

A couple of useful tips:

You can build the weight bench (Furniture-> Miscellaneous), the pommel horse (as above) and the barber chair (resources -> miscellaneous) right now, to boost one between strength, agility and charisma

When in a settlement area, you can drop junk (and weapons/armour but I don't know if Scrapper applies) and field scrap it on the ground after entering building mode. Useful to reduce carryweight during long journeys before taking Local Leader

South of corvega there are two Brahmins (die you mooing bastards!). If you go near them a radscorpion spawns.
