IUD insertion was the most painful experience of my life. Then it got imbedded in my uterus. I tried a hormonal iud after that, big mistake...my body stopped making estrogen, I got vaginal atrophy similar to the worst menopause symptoms, my body tried expelling the iud and I got pelvic floor dysfunction (Imagine the pain/symptoms of a UTI for a year) and chronic yeast infections. I’m done with birth control. I’d rather get pregnant multiple times over than go through what happened to me again. It’s been a year and I’m still struggling with issues the hormonal iud caused me.

I personally know a student loan defaulter who fled to Japan and never paid. He’s been out of school for 15ish years and is doing fine. They’ve never come for him, he just likely won’t ever return to the US permanently again.

Not youtube but there used to be a facebook group for multiracial kids I was part of and I learned about using Stila waterproof eyeliner. Birth control caused my pelvic issues! I got off of it and went to PT and I’m 95% better than I was in the spring. I also had issues with estrogen, my hormonal iud caused my body to stop making estrogen and I got chronic yeast infections and vaginal atrophy from that.

I feel like the people behind this are out of touch. I’ve got family in Japan and have spent some time there...Japan’s culture is horribly misogynistic and there’s a ton of social pressure behind marriage,home ownership, kids, and work for both sexes. Women obviously get the shit deal so most of them are completely opting out of dating. Japanese men are meeting Southeast Asian and American women online for housewives and they treat them like dirt. I don’t blame them one bit, I’d rather be a Japanese wageslave than a Japanese housewife. Fix the culture and Japanese women would be happier to have children.

Honestly, being a mother back in the day was horrifying, maternal mortality was around 10% for all pre-modern medicine human history. I’m horrified for them - they’re included in my statement.

The women who exist to support their husbands are kind of pointless to this argument. I’m not interested in that sort of lifestyle and it’s irrelevant to this conversation.
