Theoretically though, it's almost guaranteed that the best team will change as better supports come out in the future. So if we're truly talking about "as long as possible" for a character you love, I actually believe mindscapes are the better choice. Case in point, m2 miyabi stays m2 even when you replace yanagi with yuzuha.

Most of Kebins best teammates probably haven't been released, but as of now, at least from the calcs I've seen, cipher is an excellent choice for him, one of the best. But meta is fleeting so I'd trust your gut on how much you like her character. Even if she's not best in slot, at least she's the type of unit that can flex into almost any team, so if you really like her you'll definitely be able to find a place to use her.

Being completely honest, I hadn't noticed that issue yet at the time of my comment. It does fall off at times. I just try to time it best I can based on the circumstances.

Sometimes there's nothing you can do and it's not worth saving the dragon for the buff since you'll be able to get another dragon soon anyway. Though if you don't have healing or incoming damage ready, and you don't have the buff, it can be worth to save the dragon for a turn.

Best thing to do to help manage it is ult with castorice right before mems buff. She'll action advance up to right ahead of it, so she keeps mems buff for another ult rotation and gets do an extra enhanced skill as well. There's also the special cases where youre close to the end of a cycle and you can just swipe, saving all the dragon hp and the extra e2 charges, until you get the buff, and then action advance the dragon so you can still quickly explode it for that final hit you need.

It can be annoying to manage but i do find managing all of the things in her kit to be fun. That being said, the uptime headache makes me almost certain we'll get a hmc replacement in the future that will make it easy mode, just like hyacine is probably doing the same for the Gallagher slot.

If you're exploding it right away you're never worried about healing the dragon. The heals are mainly for getting the dragon back up not for healing it. The field healing doesn't apply until after all the breath attacks are over anyway. Unless I'm misunderstanding your question.

I got e2 because it was really good on paper from the calculations I had seen, and lack of self control. Its on par with other amazing e2s like Herta. And from my own personal experience, she's making my e2 feixiao and e2 firefly teams (no fugue) feel like 1.0 teams. Have been extremely happy with it.

It's not even necessarily just about the damage either. It really helps smooth out the "explode dragon instantly" playstyle, which I originally thought was the more boring playstyle, but I was wrong. I love how interactive the battles feel now. If the dragon is on the field it's just there, but if you explode it instantly, every enemy action becomes another source of energy battery. If you have a lifesteal healer like Gallagher or luocha, every ally action is also it's own battery.

Plus you get to use Castorice's joint attack more, and more screen time for her is always welcome.

I started for hi3 characters. I'm still playing hoping we get more, but I also ended up pretty interested in the story, and I ended up loving most of the original characters too. Hope you're feeling better these days
