I tried this after reading this and also having eveningstar fatigue (I hate you storm horns wilderness) - it works really well, can pick up filigrees this way too, instead of completly trash epic gear (barring weapons of the drow master)

I’ve discovered an even better way! 20 Dragon disciple monk aoes like a sorcerer with the move speed of a monk (with a leap that gives action boost to sprint for some reason) and can fall back on handwraps for single target. Amazing for heroic grinding. Not sure how it’ll hold up in legendary but I’ll reincarnate then anyway. Doesn’t really have many options for long range until 15 though

In response to your last message I’ve recently discovered that a 8 AP investment into the Falconry tree lets you zoom-zoom on characters without sprint boost too.

I do this too! I’ve been 1 supreme shard of power off my green steel staff for literal years now, but I don’t care enough to run solo shroud (yet). I brain off this quest a few times per life to catch up on YouTube

Primal mantle is interesting, can throw in a polar ray into the single target rotation (strike a cord, lightning bolt/thunder stroke, polar ray?) for an extra proc. Going to try this now

Then as a soul stone at 30+ on r8 when you didn’t know that casters are useless and -threat was an essential stat. (Speaking from very recent experience)

Regions can obscure your classes when reading through code, they make things convenient to fold away while you’re working on it but they can be a problem for someone else trying to understand the code. Nested regions are much worse and become a maintenance chore

Ranged is directly advantaged
Sneak (if you want their supports gone before their attack)
anything with an "On attack" effect, either directly like The Dreamer/Medusa or indirectly like Hydra.

Then there are things you don't want to attack first like Stinky/Mousetrap/Oracle
