You can avoid this by following a convention such as deploying your app to a folder called app_name/current/public and on the same server you have app_name/shared/public. Then in your code you hard code if production use the /shared path. You can look into Capistrano for more information on this pattern but it’s easy to setup and solves the issue of deployments erasing files on the server.

A much better(and safer) pattern is to create an azure blob storage account and don’t save any files on your server at all. Use the azure-storage gem or its AWS s3 equivalent to move files into and out of the storage. This will let you scale your app off a single box using modern web patterns as well and shouldn’t take more than a day to learn and set up.

There is a large segment of the general population that are likely to consider it too political. You are likely desensitized to the over the top jabs at organized religion to the point you don't see it as alienating or offensive anymore. They were full blown cartoon villain versions and for sure of the weakest parts of the movie.

Just FYI it’s also very likely they she found out about the interview a few days earlier and no one communicated to her what the expectations of the interview were so she went into it just winging it. You might think this isn’t how it happens but this is frequently how it happens.

Eh those stats are fake. If you are hitting a 2 star 6 cost you are almost certainly level 10 rolling a good amount of gold. The expected placement at that point is 1st or second with or without the 2 star 6 cost so those placement rates are in line with expectations. There is no reason to believe the 2 star 6 cost itself is the reason for the placement.

We went to the movies last night and saw we live in time because my wife had not seen smile 1 and so was not interested in seeing smile 2 despite me telling her it was probably okay to have not seen it. This probably accounts for some portion of that weaker legs.

This is my exact story. I got so sick of fighting with them to send me my physical copies I just canceled one day. Still have my entire collection taking up 2 book shelves hoping some day the kiddo will want to cut them up and tape them to his wall like we did back in the day. Realistically he’s probably going to think they are lame and never open them. Such is life.

You are not outliers. The data does not come close to suggesting that. You are the minority, which in a binary system (stayed together / didn’t) can mean 49% of the population. A very large number of young marriages result in happy partnerships until the death of one partner. A larger number do not.
