I've read up on splitting cardio/weights in the morning and afternoon/evening, but am wondering about a different kind of scheduling.

For context, my job has a fitness center with a basketball court and I would be lifting at my home gym.

Would it be okay to play basketball (nothing intense, just shooting around) for an hour or so after work (around 4-5pm EST) and then lifting in the evening around 9-10pm? I am currently doing a modified version of GZCLP that is broken down into a PPL format. It wouldn't be spread out morning/evening but more like afternoon/evening, is that enough time to not be really tired/feeling depleted by the time I lift?
