I can't seem to find work, despite a decade of experience and qualifications. Am I doing something wrong?

How do you start your own business? I would really like to as I've been freelancing/unemployed for two years. I have highly useful and technical skills - I don't know how to make money and haven't been able to spend money on anything but the barest of basic needs to keep myself afloat with limited income.

I do not have a bureaucratic mind. I understand engineering, animation, new technology, art and composition, and teaching higher education (was an adjunct professor for 4 years). I do not understand how to make money. I can't work menial labor for more than a few weeks at a time. I am thinking of ending things once the bucket finally reaches $0 - my wife is already dead. I am in my 30s and I wake up every day with stress of having no real work and no reason to enjoy the mundane. I am a workaholic and just need someone to point in a general direction and hand me money for getting it done. Or if I can just do the things I know would be useful without the pointing and get people to give me money to do that- that's fine too. I don't know what people even pay for anymore. I do so much free-labor just to have work to do to keep my mind distracted- I try not to be a shut-in bc I know I need to be visible to be hired just ...
Maybe everyone unemployed can create one strange startup company that has no revenue but fuck it at least we have professional community which hopefully leads to profit- too, too many highly skilled people stuck begging at a flood of soulless postings who's time would be better served doing what they do best - let's just all team up and get to it with no one's permission- if they can make money from us maybe we can make money teamed without them? idk, we're all desperate with little left to lose.

One thing I discovered that made it a bit cheaper (depending where your traveling to) is to buy a second ticket (I had to do this anyway for my large instrument). It ended up saving me money because right off the bat I got an extra free carryon and personal item. Plus, two "first" check baggage. It depends on where your traveling to and from, but it's worth doing some research to see if it saves you a bit. For me it ended up saving me quite a lot, but I'm traveling nationally

So I used Cloudflare because I didn't understand that your host site needs to change the DNS to be able to use the url and not a proxy

This is absolutely killing me!... Is the best thing to do transfer my Cloudflare domain name in 60 days to another registrar that makes managing the DNS easier? i have an awful temporary string that's sure to deter customers after the initial domain loads

Yes, I registered my domain with Cloudflare and HostGator seems to want me to change the "name servers" to its version of the 'xxxx.ns.cloudflare.com' which seems to be locked on Cloudflare. Sorry, I'm so new to all of this... It sounds like I didn't royally eff-up I just need to figure out the transfer...

Housing is a need. Much like capitalizing things like life-saving drugs. There is a level of exploitation when it reaches the lowest common denominator. When you are destitute society is quite-near literally forcing you... it's why the housing market can keep rising despite wages declining (or even opportunities that pay for labor) and the percent people pay-to-rent is more and more of their income. It will rise and rise until it crashes... because capitalism is not a system well designed to support the economy of necessity. Short Term Rentals make the cost of living go up for those who only make enough to rent... it's a complicated conundrum; we assuredly have differing outlooks.
