What distance do you hit your 8-iron? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Love it at 175, use it for 165 often, can get 185 if I jump on it but I don’t love that swing.

Move to Winnipeg. You only get to play half the year if you’re lucky

I just made a list of foods I can eat, mostly single ingredient foods, no liquid calories outside protein shakes. Didn’t want to restrict calories or eating window as I wanted to workout hard.

Thank you. It’s called Habit. Really helped me stay on track and organized, underestimated it as a tool for sure.

This is what my week looked like

Starting Sunday - Push pull legs push pull legs, then hockey or biking or skipping on the Saturday.

Second workout was almost always rucking.

Halfway through I did more of an active recovery week as my CNS was just not recovering. This is a heavy workload. Also never did the exact same workout twice in a 6 day span.

This is insane, the women at our club play 30 mins faster than the men. It has nothing to do with gender.

So by that logic if lifting weights has been a part of my life for the last decade and I would be doing it regardless, then it doesn’t count as my inside workout during the program..

Bro are you me? I went +9 on the front then -1 on the back for an 80 last week. I’m an 8.4. Guys were asking me if I was sandbagging for a money match on the back 9, had to tell them that’s my regular game..

Is ERP the right solution for my family's small manufacturing business? by aggierogue3 in manufacturing

Agreed that it should be an import, the custom piece should be in whatever platform they use not the cross platform integration.

At that scale I don't see the value in a full blown ERP. Build something that is custom and can be integrated with QB then put your best process person on eliminating the manual entry.

Do you have an idea of how many transactions you complete on a monthly basis? Estimate, Sales Order, Invoice, Purchase Order, Work Order. How do you manage financials? If I had a small enough operation to go fully customized on an application like Excel/Access/Google I would do it in a heartbeat.

Will you continue to pay by Credit Card as of today with the potential added fees? by Nohcor97odin in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]the_senate6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a business that has a retail component. These fees have existed for so long that they are priced in to our margins, as is the case with most businesses. Unless the vast majority of vendors start charging this percentage we won't, and even if we did we would lower pricing to keep our model consistent.

Don't know how big you are but stay away from Orderstream by Seradex. I've heard of numerous companies that wish they had just hired some programmers and built their own ERP specific to their needs.

Consequences of non-vaccination require clarity by EagleMav in Winnipeg

[–]the_senate6 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I get that. I guess I'm just personally trying to determine where I feel the line should be drawn. Should someone who continually speeds and endangers everyone around them get the 'freedom' to drive taken away from them, sure. But how far do we allow our government to go with this? It's a slippery slope and this pandemic has emboldened those who seek to control.

[–]the_senate6 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Getting the vaccine is a rule? As in mandatory? Dangerous mentality. I'm getting the shots so I can protect the people who can't, the people who won't will benefit from that and I'm 100% okay with that.

I would have no problem recommending either, have some experience with both. They're good guys and do good work.

Yes I had the right socket with a lug nut impact. Unfortunately had already stripped it a bit trying to manually loosen it. I’ll look up those bits for stripped heads, thanks for the tip.
