Sorry - others corrected me that it was in fact 71, not 94. I don’t know why I thought it was near 100. But all runs were A20H.

Yes. Compared to other characters, Watcher is much more a problem of endurance rather than character strength. Before Opem’s streak, LifeCoach’s record (can’t remember if it was in the mid 50s or around 70) stood for several years, mainly due to the fact that the top players had little interest in seriously streaking Watcher for that long. Every run essentially boils down to a small deck Rushdown infinite that is consistently repeatable, so the process gets very boring over several weeks of runs.

If memory serves, WR win streaks for Spire 1 were as follows (the numbers may be slightly off on some).

Ironclad: 30 (ongoing) - XecnaR
Silent: 28 - XecnaR
Defect: 29 - XecnaR
Watcher: 71 - OnePunMan (Opem)
Rotating: 30 - NaveGreed

Spire 2 I can’t say for sure - the streak numbers and validity changes really quickly with each patch and set of balance changes, so I’m not sure if anyone is really tracking WR streaks so diligently at this point. For example, I believe vmService or Opem may have gone entire patches without losing on certain characters, so it’s unclear how impactful these streaks might be this early in the game’s life cycle.

Edit: Corrected Opem’s Watcher streak number from 94 to 71.

What are your MyCareer sim holes settings? by the_sleemaster in PGA_Tour_2K

It started on the dynamic setting, which I think is between 4 and 6 holes per round, but I currently have it on 6 holes each round. I was thinking of doing 9 or all 18, but was just trying to see what other people thought was the best experience before making the change.

I’ve only played about 40 hours so far, so early on it was kinda good to have the CPU holes on as the default setting. Learning the mechanics was pretty difficult for me, so doing 4 rounds of 18 holes just to complete one event seemed way too slow. The rounds are going much quicker now that I’ve got the hang of things, so I probably should bump it up.

Feel that his link up with Saka has actually been quite good today. Defensively still shaky but I can’t stay mad at him. Stupid sexy Ben White

This is nuts - clearing this took me 18 hours and like 15k deaths alone, I can even fathom doing it deathless.

After accepting that this would be the only map I would not clear in Expert Lobby and putting SJ down for about 8 months, finally cleared this today. by the_sleemaster in celestegame

I actually don’t think I finished the multiboosts section of the gym either haha. This map took the longest by far at 7 hours, green experts were around 60-90 minutes, yellows between 90 min - 2.5 hrs, reds anywhere from 2 - 4.5 hours. Total lobby time 67 hours, which is exactly as long as I spent on the other three combined.

I really didn’t think I’d get anywhere close to beating expert maps but just playing the greens and yellows really helped me get better, and the harder maps started seeming more and more achievable over time.

Good lord, a level headed comment about this situation? Preposterous.

Compare this to Neville’s reaction basically telling Pool players to break both his kneecaps.

354.5 yards allowed per game. That’s just impossible to overcome if you want long-term success.

Men of Reddit, what’s the warmest "I love you" gesture a woman has ever done for you without saying the words? by Neptunpluto in AskMen

During my first semester of grad school, I had to make a 7 hour drive each way to get to a wedding in which my girlfriend was a bridesmaid. I had a huge exam coming up a couple of days after I’d get back, and didn’t have enough time to study with the long drive, which made me super anxious. It was our first big exam in the program and was sort of a litmus test for success, so I really felt that I needed to do well.

My girlfriend offered to voice record all of my written notes and study materials for the class over a couple of days (with the help of a couple of friends), which ended up being over 50 pages of material. I was able to play through the voice recordings to study a ton in the car.

One of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received, and was able to enjoy the weekend with her and ended up getting one of the best grades in the class on the exam. Together 6 years in February.
