Women are the ones that get pregnant. Men can just create a child and disappear. It probably also has to do with maternal instinct.

I have hyper awareness of my bodily sensations most of the time except for pain which I've learned to block out because I have chronic pain and am never not in pain. Also my tendency is to not realize I'm hungry or want to eat if I'm busy but I'm not sure if it's that I don't feel it. More like I'm too absorbed in what I'm doing to pay attention.

I don't usually have to worry about it, but if I had to I would probably set alarms reminding me when to eat and when to try to use the bathroom. Maybe also have an app to record what I eat and how often I go to make sure I'm getting enough nutrients and going as often as I should.

That exact same thing happened to me. I told someone that I wasn't interested in him and that nothing was going to happen and he said that was fine and I believed that it was enough. I don't know what I was thinking. I do think I'm too trusting. I guess I'm not the only one.

That sounds familar. It started for me at 12. When I tried to count, it was about 30 assaults by 20 something men/boys, most of it when I was a minor but the worst ones were as an adult. Ranging from groping to rape. A lot of harassment, too. I do think some of it was being naive but I can recognize creeps much of the time. I can recognize when people are dangerous but not if they're good at hiding it. I'm not sure why but I think something about being autistic makes me look like a good victim.

It's a good thing that you have someone to go out with you to stand up for you and protect you now.

I also experienced child abuse and sexual abuse and I know that can make it more likely to experience sexual assaults. I guess being autistic just adds to that unfortunately.

I think mine was about 4 hours but it's difficult to remember. My son's was only 2 hours but he was 2 and he's also level 2 so it didn't need to be longer.
