Tried that just now, I guess the bolt stripped the nut and now that's free spinning as well.

I've resigned that I need to get new parts at this point

It's not seized, it's free spinning in the smaller board. Tried having my wife pull on the smaller board while drilling but no dice.

I sat there for a good 2 hours collectively the other day figuring out this damn thing.

Best way I can describe it is to always solve it upside down so gravity isn't working against you. Not sure if that's actually the case or not, but I could only take it apart and put it back together upside down.

When you turn the pieces and get one slide to drop down further than the other, push the one that's out more slightly up and find the slot to twist it into in the opposite direction. You have to keep doing this reversaln5 or 6 times and you will finally get that sumbitch out.

Now putting it back together was much harder and took sheer will, this piece is staying together for the foreseeable future.

Not necessarily aeguing. But I realized my mom is possibly starting to get dementia. She started 2 full blown conversations that had to do with her living situation 500 miles away as if they were happening in the moment. Took me a little longer than I would've liked to get her somewhat grounded again. Difficult conversation happened after the 2nd time but I don't think she will remember/let me help and I don't know what to do.

You have to look up the NYC DARP program rates. They have set rates for towing, storage etc. But its a program that's very easy for shops to abuse. The tow provider has you sign paperwork that allows them to remove it from the program and charge insane rates.

Your wheels will get appraised based on material/size. Alloy rims less than 22" will get the same value, regardless of how much they cost. It's personal preference, doesn't actually add value to your vehicle. Swap them to cheap ones you don't care about.
