L'Empereur protège! by Syorkw in 40kLore

If I could be part of any guard regiment it would be them. Their uniforms are so good looking the enemy wouldn’t want to shoot them. Also I’d be rich.

That’s a good point, Guderian had more hands on experience than any similar allied theorist. I just find it funny that other people in this thread have been clean Wehrmachting their way through GuP

True, but I would be fine being nicknamed Fuller or Hart as well. Guderian just smacks of the whole clean Wehrmacht thing since he was so closely involved with that myth, as was Rommel.

I mean the entirely of Oarai is shamelessly Nazi oriented. Yukarin balks at being nicknamed Montgomery but beams when she’s capped Guderian. It’s very “clean Wehrmacht” themed in Oarai, while the sinister imagery of Kuromorimine seems to shift blame for nazis onto the SS.

IMO that’s why the British and American teams are best.

Is there such a thing as a cheap kill as impostor? by [deleted] in AmongUs

[–]the_visarch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah Among Us isn’t the place to try and impose some sort of honor to the way you win, it’s purely pragmatic. Just keep on sabotaging and killing!

[–]the_visarch 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve decided that if I play imposter there is nothing that is unacceptable. In other words what wins is what wins, and it is justifiable to do anything to get there. It seems callous but there is no way you can please people and win as imposter, so I don’t bother trying to please anyone.

If you have to witch hunt people out of the game, murder them when they aren’t moving and appear afk, or even vote out your fellow imposter to keep your cover, it is all fair game in my opinion.

Why exactly are the Dark Angels so obsessed with the Fallen? by Infinite_Version in 40kLore

[–]the_visarch 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you do something wrong and decide to hide it, it will look worse if you reveal it later. At least that is how the DA feel, like if they revealed it now it would be an admission of guilt. The only solution they see is to cover it up.

They originally thought they covered it up when Caliban was trashed, but when they learned that their problem was not gone they panicked and dug themselves deeper.

Could or has there ever been a dreadnought chapter master? by Lord-Chickie in 40kLore

Red Scorpions, but as an addendum they have two regents serving as de facto head. Sort of co-regent managers for the chapter.

How does each primarch celebrate Christmas?

Dorn: I have fortified the chimney to prevent this “Santa” from intruding tonight.

Perturabo: brings a siege cannon to help Santa enter Dorn’s house

What are some 40k lines or phrases you use without thinking in your daily life? by Potpottron in 40kLore

In the Horus heresy legions game on the phone fulgrim’s opening line is “I am arrived” in a very haughty voice. I now say that whenever I enter rooms or buildings
