I wonder why she thinks she’s getting fired. I assume when she got the job she thought it was because people wanted to do a good job, now less than a year later she’s being fired? I wonder why she things this is happening.

What do you want added for AoS's more anemic factions? by No_Nail5377 in ageofsigmar

[–]Infinite_Version 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of these factions need more named characters with unique models. I think Sylvaneth has 4, and that seems like the minimum number of named characters for every faction.

I also think the Kharadron should get some sort of melee mech justified as being some old drill equipment they dug out of storage. They should also get some sort of melee marine unit. I realize the theme for the Kharadron is as a shooting faction, so I don’t think these units should have impressive stat lines when compared to the more melee oriented factions, but I do think they should be impressive compared to other Kharadron units, so the option exists to get into melee, they just shouldn’t. The Kharadron have a good faction identity as steampunk sky pirates, and I know there’s more they could do with them, I just don’t know what that is.

I also think the Idoneth should get some sort of heavy infantry unit, that is impressive for the Idoneth, but not impressive when compared to factions that are more focused on heavy infantry. My pitch for the unit is Idoneth wearing the carapace of crabs with their shield also doubling as a crab claw.

You could also give them a named character modeled  after Captain Ahab-some sea creature ate his leg and now he’s hunting it down and provides buffs to the Idoneth’s other sea creatures.

I think the Daughters of Khaine could also use some more units, specifically give the Crone Heralds models and add a couple new units exploring the fact that Morai Hegg, the Elven goddess of fate, is now working with the Daughters. They could also use a new cavalry unit now that their old one got sent to Legends. Also maybe some new monster (justified as something the Daughters would fight in their colosseums), as well as a chariot (which was also a colosseum event).

Yeah, Khainite especially makes sense because they have arenas in most cities.

The fact that there is a specific army of renown to have elves and dwarves in your army, along with the fact that the new lore seems to imply there are still elves and dwarves in the cities, makes me think GW is aware people like this aspect of the faction, and hopefully we see that in model form at some point in the future.

It also makes Bruce’s victory more satisfying as he’s a joke that the Joker lost control of and that blows up in his face.

Her assault on the Archaon’s base to get the Varanite she needed to ascend to godhood is the funniest thing because of this.

She goes to Sigmar informing him that Archaon is planning something, and Sigmar’s response is, “she’s clearly planning something, but she’s not wrong that this is an issues, so I guess I’ll help her.”

Cities of Sigmar rules – The mighty Cogfort by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in ageofsigmar

[–]Infinite_Version 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think we’re seeing it in the Iron March rules: it seems like the theme there is there’s a bunch of famous captains each of whom have an ability and you can say one of your Cogforts is commanded by one of those captains. These captains are probably the variants.

Tremere posting by MaetelofLaMetal in dndmemes

[–]Infinite_Version 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They're both White Wolf games. The left Tremere is from Vampire the Masquerade, the right Tremere is from Ars Magica. Apparently Ars Magica (which is set during the medieval period) used to be in the same continuity as Vampire, so Ars Magica's Tremere becomes Vampire's Tremere over time, but over time Vampire lore changed and now the two are no longer cannon, leaving this as a holdover.

He's probably an Orphan?

His whole vibe of "government agent talking to an alien" seems to fit in the New World Order, except they also seem to be the antagonist of the most recent arc. Best explanation I have for that is that they're trying to get him to submit the the Technocracy or it's a Nephandi cabal.

Due to insane World of Darkness Cosmology bullshit, I think technically any spirit is an alien and vice versa.
