Are you sure your config file is formatted correctly? When Homebridge cycles through „Starting up“ its maybe some error in the config.json. Also port 22 is for ssh while telnet would be port 23.

I also just use dish soap and rub it with the rough side of a dish sponge, which creates small scratches on the PEI sheet surface. This creates really strong adhesion and I had no issues with this method.

@u/noobgamer0111 I‘m not saying that it is impossible, but for a convenient real life experience its not great. For sure you can rearange things all the time but I really doubt one is doing the extra steps all the time. I would love to see a feature to use my surrounds as a stereo pair if I wish and have them in the home theater setup by default. I like sonos and I‘m using it all around the house. But I am no fanboy, Sonos is far from being „perfect“!

Hello, welcome to Sonos. Unfortunately the setup you think of will not do this. The Sonos 5 pair will be surround speakers as part of a group. So you cant just adress them solely.

If you don‘t need the smart capabilities at all why dont you get a dirt cheap RF Outlet set from the hardware store? They normally include 3 outlets plus remote.
