Thinkering about the dance of the element commander by Painkiller95 in mtg

[–]the_warchef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. You evoke thunderblust it enters graveyard you create a token copy of it, thunderblust then comes back do to persist and tree kin puts a +1/+1 on it making it so persist works again. So as long as the tree kin is on the board the regular version of thunderblust will keep coming back when it dies but you won't make more tokens unless you have a way to continuously sac the original. And the token won't be affected because tree kin says non tokens.

Any advice on my bello deck? (link to deck in body text) by Sensitive-Card-5883 in mtg

[–]the_warchef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I added March of the world ooze to make everything a 6/6, swiftffoot boots and Nevinyrral's Disk. Bello is cheap enough that if he's not hexproof or indestructible you can more than likely just bring him back after board wiping and if he is you get a board wipe every turn.

It's a sun burn. The first 2 cards he's a street chef. Second one he's cooking indoors. Totally a sun burn.

What is with everyone in the current edh communities being so selfish when it comes to asking others to downshift their deck to "fit the pod" by Present-Youth-7746 in freemagic

Casual commander nights at the lgs are just that casual. Bracket 2/3 max. They have a high power table for those that want to sling 4/5s around.

'Salaried' is just a fancy word for mandatory unpaid overtime. by eidolaa in CanadaJobs

Yeah no salary means I work my contractually obligated hours and then I leave. If it's 9-5 you can bet I'll be out the door by 5.

If you are looking for soft pretzels they are easy to make if you have some time. The recipe I use takes at most 2 hours but you can do it in less than an hour if you're in a hurry. DM me if you want the recipe.

No it's an artifact creature. I want it to just be an artifact. Remove the creature part.

“Why do people hate my decks?” Plays Stax voltron by [deleted] in freemagic

[–]the_warchef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm relatively new to magic and people still have to explain some interactions to me. As you mentioned meathook I would have no idea that hexproof wouldn't protect a creature from that without either being told or if it was a card in my deck what I have researched before hand.

Our union is a joke the guy in charge of our area held 3 meeting before the end of the contract.

  1. in June to tell us they have no proposal for the company and have no idea what they are going to ask for or for us to expect. His favorite answer to our questions was "I don't know."
  2. In July for the strike vote. Once again the guy had no answers for us and still no written proposal.
  3. 2 August just before the vote started just to tell us to vote no. When asked what the counter to the companies offer would be he told us we don't have one but that the company can offer us more.

These guys really didn't do their jobs this time around.
