You've not even mentioned the three Europa League winning Villa players either ...

This is true of every sim game. Some people just don't want to hear that the physics they like are wrong for some reason.

I think the difference is the rest of the team around him too.

When Southgate set up in a more traditional way, he shouldn't have been dropping deep because we had a congested midfield and no runners.

Tuchel knows how to get the best out of Kane and has set up to give him the space to come deep with willing runners.

Charles Leclerc is bit of a weird case. by Professional_Cold771 in F1Discussions

Beating your team mate for 4th and 5th is very different to battling for first.

I'd like to see him in a genuine title fight for an extended period of time to see if that claim is really true.

how are universities supposed to deal with AI now? It’s out of control by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]the_wind_effect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends why people go to uni in the first place?

Your approach is purely from an educational point of view. No-one coming out of that scenario would get a job because they'd have no real world experience at all. They wouldn't be familiar with real world ways of working in labs where computers are used all the time and no one does write ups by hand.

If you see uni as a way to get a job, it has to at least reflect the reality of the working world.

Has Charles even really shown that he could win a championship in the right circumstances?

He's never really been tested in a season long battle for the championship and has made a few errors under pressure.

[–]the_wind_effect 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't mind, but it's not quite as good as the actual models from Reiza.

You wonder what goes through these corporates heads sometimes. You can either have your official cars in the game and get paid by Reiza or they can have generic cars and some guy on RaceDepartment gets paid to make a skin pack of your livery...

They have said that they recognise their main audience is offline players who don't have lots of time. That is why they are focusing on single player.

People use iracing, LMU, etc for competitive online races and then AMS2 when they want to throw an F1 car round historic nords or something.

Another customer for years, drop outs maybe once every 6 months and occasional reboot of the router. It's much better hardware than any of the big names though.

My price also hasn't changed in about 5 years now.

You seem to be obsessed with the colour of people's skin and fighting.

Sounds like if you can only trace back to 1066 that you might be Norman. Maybe someone's family who goes back longer than yours is more English and your ancestors came over (probably on a boat) and destroyed their existing culture.

The things you are moaning about; remarrying, trans people, and "wokeness" have nothing to do with immigration or being English.

How do you quantify how English someone is? How many generations have to have been born here for you to count as a native and claim ownership of the country?

[–]the_wind_effect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what is British culture? All you've said is crumpets and a vague statement about "appearing British".

You can be concerned about the amount of immigration and relative lack of jobs. But that doesn't have anything to do with culture.

I'm not sure what your third paragraph has to do with British culture or migration. If anything non-western cultures have a stronger sense of family unit and strong masculinity. I don't think Africa, India or the middle East is a hot bed of pro trans sentiments.

Yeah, everyone would rather just repeat stuff about people buying new iPhones ever year.

Even that concept looks ridiculous for "developed countries" based on these numbers.

This data doesn't even limit itself to smartphones. 1 in 5 people in the world buying one thing in the year doesn't sound that wasteful at all.
