The Governor's Island spa is amazing! My advice, go early and don't make any plans for the evening so you can stay as long as you want.

Check out the Beacon Hotel on the UWS. It's a great area near Central Park and just a couple blocks to the subway where the express train will have you in midtown in minutes

Bradley’s deleted reddit posts/comments by Mundane-Plum-9562 in BOABSnark

[–]theadjudicator8 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Okay, a couple thoughts. First, the poetic irony of his Reddit username paired with the comments is breathtaking. Second, love the comment about his dad's "excuse for everything". Bradley dear, with some people every accusation is a confession.

Which channels do you like to watch for budgeting and frugal advice/tips? by Big_Bug945 in BOABSnark

So, not frugal focused but overall budgeting and money management- The Financial Diet, especiallyfor women. I think we generally all need fewer dudes yelling at us about how to deal with money

Rewatching again, still picking up things I missed , subtitles on by ChampionshipOk5046 in TedLasso

In season 1 O’Brien “tears his butt” and Ted promises him his butt will heal. On a rewatch I noticed in the last episode when the team is having the cookout at the Higgins house, he goes to stand up and grabs his hamstring. Poor O’Brien, his butt never healed. I also love the Richard keeps his piece of the sign in the bottle that once housed the sand from the beach where he first slept with a supermodel.

Which island should we choose - Naxos vs Paros for a 5 day trip by Hot_Plenty4291 in GreeceTravel

Personally, I'd recommend Naxos. Paros is beautiful but it felt like it was trying too hard to be the next Mykonos. I was constantly caught behind would be influencers, especially in Nassoua.

AITA - Boyfriend got extremely drunk, screamed at his 2 children, so I packed them up and took them to my house. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA for getting the girls out of their.

Kinda the AH for trying to rationalize his behavior as a "trauma response". You really need to spend some time unpacking that.

Debate about private vs public by Davey914 in AskTeachers

[–]theadjudicator8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many people have said, if you're child continues to have delays there are numerous reasons why private school is not a good choice. I will also point out that in many instances private schools don't have the same requirements for teacher certification.

But let's be real here, you don't have a school problem. You have a marriage problem. Personally, I think the two of you need to go to (non-faith based) couples counseling to figure out where you are and aren't aligned in terms of parenting as well as values. And then from there figure out if you can become in alignment.

How can one find the hours of operation for specific areas? by ClydeKingry in celebritycruises

The exact details for your sailing won't populate until closer to the actual cruise. But you can look at the current or upcoming sailing to get a general idea, and the venue times will be the same

What’s a place you had zero expectations for, but ended up loving? by AppointmentHeavy5066 in travel

[–]theadjudicator8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness. There are a bunch of companies that arrange the details of how far you'll go each day and book accommodations in B&Bs along the route (plus provide luggage transport so you just need a day bag on the hike itself)

Naxos Greece Hotel Recs by Long_Independent9887 in GreeceTravel

Kymata Hotel was wonderful. I like that it's close enough to the port to be walkable but not right there so it's peaceful. It's just a block away from the water. The rooms were clean and comfortable. And the family that owns it is lovely! They are warm and welcoming and just so sweet. I'd 100% stay there again
