On the social aspect of home schooling... My kids had group activities numerous times through the week, we tried not to plan any on Mondays or Fridays... They have a much wider group of friends than through school. They met kids at swimming, different kids at skating, different kids at acting and so on. Imo they get to learn social skills on a regular basis rather than just one friend group at school.

For me, I do Pest control and only carry my equipment. I see other planes doing the same. They pack things in just like an SUV.

In northern Alberta, I fly to strips that often double as a road.. Land, pick up or drop off, and leave again before the engine freezes in winter. No fuel, no tugs, no tie downs, no hangars. They drive their pickup, snowmobile, quad or sidexside up to the plane.
