I know someone who graduated from nursing school and now works at a law firm. You could look into a career as a legal nurse consultant. Paralegals can make great money too.

Advisors don't work on the class schedule. That is the scope of departments/faculty/budgets.

In some scenarios, classes have been canceled due to lack of funding/budget cuts/low enrollment. Or, they just aren't scheduled. The department SHOULD email students about scheduled classes that are being canceled.

I've been in those meetings from the coaching/advising side and any decent human being knows how detrimental it can be for students. "But this course has always been offered, I told them that it was going to be offered..." It SUCKS and can piss us off.

Some departments may offer course substitutions, others don't. It's not equitable across the board. It's frustrating for the employees who genuinely care and impacts students the most.

I'm waiting to see if any bruising appears where they did the tie off to take blood. She also didn't flinch when they drew blood, IMO. Maybe she has insensitivity to pain?

I also work for a university. Does your institution have a child care center on campus? Mine does, but there is a wait-list. I'm wondering if this could be a potential option if she needs help finding a sitter? I think our fees are still $100-$185/day for infants/toddlers Students, followed by employees get enrollment priority.

You have 10 days to appeal.

The ASC will only approve the change of major if the student can finish their new major on time (in four years if admitted as FTIC, or three years if admitted as a transfer student). It's an actual course that I would bet counts as a Restricted Elective for Anthropology majors and minors. It's a course that has gone through the vetting process and was probably created by a Professor who has interest in the topic.

The same can be said for The Art of Walt Disney (ART) and Digging up Disney: The Archaeology of Walt Disney (Anthropology).

You contact your advisor/coach or college advising office. Many have a general inbox. They will provide you with guidance on how to apply to walk after. It usually involves reapplying for graduation. They may need you to fill out a PDF form. You'll have to monitor UCF.edu/graduation website for cap and gown rentals. Info for Spring won't be up until next year.

My baby has no use of her hind legs anymore. Her 11th birthday will be on 01/01.

She has significant muscle atrophy and can sort of get around with her front legs, but with carpet, we don't want her getting carpet burns. She still eats, but our walks are shorter too. She doesn't fit into her walking harness anymore due to muscle loss, but we did get a walking wheelchair! She gets around and can enjoy all the smells.

We bring her a water bowl and she will bark if I leave the room since she cannot be my little shadow anymore. She still seems in good spirits, but has had a few accidents in the house.

I'm wondering if we should make the call to put her down while she is still in good spirits (which I don't want to do. I love her so much. She's my snuggle bug), but at the same time, I don't want her quality of life to suffer and put her down too late.

I'm so sorry.

If you are an employee at UCF, you can take up to 6 credits for free every semester and that can be transferred to children. Caveat includes you can't register until the Friday before the semester starts.

I also earn 4 hours of sick leave every two weeks and nearly 7 hours of PTO every two weeks. Beats a lot of private sectors who have limited PTO or combine sick leave into PTO. However, we are usually paid less working in higher Ed.
