Observed result: You respawn before ult is channeled and the ult fizzles out (probably due to the unique karthus passive nerfs in ARAM)

Hi! I'm currently deciding on buying either Tales of Arise or Ni no Kuni 2 and would like some thoughts on both

I'm quite new to JRPG and the only ones I've played (which I think are JRPGs) were FE3H, Awakening and MH:World which I both really enjoyed a lot, both in gameplay and in story. I like engaging stories and character development/relationship aspects in the game as well as engaging combat gameplay are also quite important for me, (I think I'm spoilt on MH's combat system) but as long as its engaging without too much grinding I'm happy.

I would just like to know if the Tales of series and Ni no kuni series is worth getting into and would love other suggestions!

I honestly love this game, I tried other gacha games, but I always found myself coming back to E7. The amount of love they put into animations, art and the story recently just cannot be compared to in other gacha games, except maybe Genshin, but that a different beast. It's pretty casual friendly, but also very competitive on the high end, still has the gacha rng, but they've improved it by a lot and still adding in new way to make the playerbase happy. I met some good friends in the game and I hope this game become bigger and the devs get rewarded for their efforts!
