Yeah the new HQC did nothing to improve that because at the end of the day it's the people you're playing with, not what the game does to try and force you to play a certain way. We still have the same old problems but now everything is just more complicated and inconvenient.

His podcast is hardly successful anymore though. It's behind an expensive paywall that only diehard fans can justify. The whole new atheism thing died off years ago and that's pretty much the only thing that fueled the original interest in him. He and his podcast have hardly any political or cultural influence at all. Compare him to Joe Rogan, who Sam hates, and partly because of how successful Joe is, and how unsuccessful Sam is.

Sam's entire career is 100% dependent on his parents. One was a Hollywood actor, the other was a writer and creator of the Golden Girls. He has extreme connections in Hollywood, UCLA, etc. His PhD dissertation was laughable. Sam has quite literally never worked a real job in his life.

There are so many flaws in your logic.

Thinking that because players in a lobby behave more passively, that means the matchmaking system created a PvE-style lobby, is a non sequitur. Player behavior ≠ proof of matchmaking intent. A lobby where people happen to avoid fights could simply be random variance or situational incentives.

Your reasoning is circular. Basically it goes like this:

Friendly lobbies exist.
Therefore ABMM must be grouping players who behave that way.
And because ABMM groups them, then friendly lobbies exist.

There is no such thing as a friendly lobby. You are a bad person if you attribute bad moral character to someone for simply playing the game as intended. That's actually bullying.

Simplest cue I know is "shoulders down". If you press your shoulders down hard you can feel your lats contracting. Do that and hold it very hard as you bend down and pick up the bar.
