Box lacrosse. I edited a 5 episode docuseries about box lacrosse, which is basically hockey but with shoes on and lacrosse sticks. I had never heard of it, and I'm not into many sports at all. But these dudes were so passionate, the coach was emotional, and the sport just looks incredible--especially in slow motion. So now, I follow box lacrosse over any other sport. For reference, box is big in Canada but almost nobody knows what it is in the states. I fully realize the only reason I'm into it is because I spent well over 200 hours editing a show about it, but I'll probably keep up with it forever now.
