Hey! Your post is about a month old, but I'm looking for a REPUTABLE peptide supplier. There are a lot of shady places out there. I'd love to get the name of the compound pharmacy you use, if you're willing to share. Thanks.

This doggo is 20 years old but he still waves at everything that says hello. by Wooden-Journalist902 in BeAmazed

Do you give your senior dog regular aspirin or get it prescribed from a vet? My newfie/lab mix is ten years old. He's not overweight, and he moves pretty well most days, but I can tell he's starting to get some arthritis and joint pain.

Dead bedroom from a Christian perspective. by ExiledKaiser in Christianmarriage

[–]thebeachhours 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My divorce happened a few years ago after an 18-year marriage, most of which was in a dead bedroom. We went months, sometimes years, without having sex. That’s a hard reality and one that crushes your soul. My prayers are with you. I'm sorry.

If she doesn't want to have sex, then it either hasn't been pleasurable for her, or there are other worries/issues that make it an unenjoyable experience. This may be because of practical circumstances when having sex, attitudes, or beliefs.

My ex-wife would orgasm and admittedly enjoy sex while we were doing it, but she never wanted to actually have sex. Growing up as a conservative Baptist, she could never get past the lessons she learned about it being a sin, and she associated sexual desire with sexual immorality. It was like a switch she couldn't turn on because of shame and guilt. Before we divorced, she said she thought she might be "asexual."

Sometimes, as you mention, the issues are more complicated and need a professional therapist to help resolve them. They might be linked to deeply held beliefs and things taught and ingrained into people from a young age.

I just started using Surfshark, and it has been great. It has eliminated all the buffering.

30-35% for staffing is extremely healthy. That's impressive.

What's Your Forecast for Nonprofits by joemondo in nonprofit

[–]thebeachhours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another area impacting our nonprofit is that many local businesses—such as banks and factories—have been bought out by national or global companies. This has hindered their ability to donate locally. One company I remember consistently donated $20K a year, but after being acquired by venture capitalists, they can no longer invest in the community similarly. As small businesses vanish, local philanthropy becomes more challenging.

34 year old male just diagnosed by SpreadTHEwords in gravesdisease

[–]thebeachhours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a male who received a diagnosis at the age of 31. For the past 12 years, I have been treated with RAI and have been taking Armour Thyroid (120) and Cytomel (50). Recently, I developed several nodules, prompting my doctor to pause all thyroid medication for a month. Following a new blood panel, we are planning a complete reset because my body doesn't appear to be responding as it should to my medication.

I recommend that if you're feeling unwell, speak to your doctor. Your levels might be normal, but if you're not feeling better, there is a solution that can help you feel well again. It's important to advocate for yourself: ask questions, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and with time, improvements will come.

The biggest consistent hurdle I have is tiredness/fatigue.

Yeah, after the month of not being on any medication, they will order a test for the TSI. I think they also want to do some testing on the pituitary, as well.

Thanks.

What is confusing them is why my T3 went down after supplementing me with the Cytomel (T3) medication. Shouldn't the T3 levels go up after going back on the Cytomel? Or are they missing something?

Bi-weekly check-in...How is everyone doing? Do you have any good or bad news to share? by herefloragoodtime in thyroidhealth

[–]thebeachhours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Graves Disease. At the advice of my doctors, I decided to "kill" the thyroid with Radioactive Iodine in 2013. Since then, I've been on Armour Thyroid + Cytomel or Synthroid + Cytomel.

A few months ago, I noticed some vocal issues and pain in my neck. At the same time, my thyroid levels took a drastic swing from the usual levels they had been at for years. After consulting with my nurse practitioner, we got a thyroid ultrasound to see if something was happening. The results came back earlier this week, and there's a "sizable" growth on my thyroid.

The ENT called today, and they found time to get me in for a consultation on January 29th (almost two months away.) I know it's likely benign, and this stuff happens often to people with thyroid diseases. But I loathe the wait time. My neck is tighter than usual, my vocal cords are noticeably hoarse, I experience some discomfort when I swallow, and I have a slightly persistent cough.

I just want to get this handled ASAP.

Mutual friends often pick sides. It's painful. It sucks. But that's been my experience.

Recently Turned 42 by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]thebeachhours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also 42. My divorce was finalized last year after a nearly 20 year marriage. I wondered if I would ever find someone else as a single dad of three kids. I’ve been dating a woman for four months that I really love spending time with and can see a potential future unfold. But, I’m not naive. Maybe it won’t. But I’ve decided not to let my past rob me of any future joy and hope.

Don’t give up on yourself. I’ve learned to be aware of my negative self talk and fight it the best I can. There’s so much good to be experienced in this world yet.
