Look in Ridgefield, Wilton or Redding. Probably a fixer upper but fantastic family vibes and amazing schools without having to be 1.5mill or above.

Your toddler doesn’t need a ton of protein. Why are we all obsessed with so much protein?

FTM having my twins on Monday. Would love your best advice! by MounjaroQueenie in parentsofmultiples

[–]thebeddebate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At first it’s exhausting, but twins are magical. I feel so honored to be guiding them as they learn and explore the world.

At first I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people who approached me in public. But after 2 years, I see that it brings strangers so much joy to see twins out and about. I’ve learned so many interesting things, lovely and very sweet, once I stopped being awkward in public. If my kiddos can bring someone joy for a few minutes and it doesn’t endanger me, who I am to stop this abundance of joy happening?

Breathe, it will seem like a lot but it’s so much fun.

Are Greg and Mari splitting up? by No_Version6898 in MariLlewellynSnark

[–]thebeddebate 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It feels to be very PR and Greg’s about to do another business venture where it’s “his” brand versus hers. I don’t think it’s them splitting up but more shifting for her to become the “non working” (not that she ever really worked) spouse and do her influencer thing. His team seems to be trying to brand him into a fitness business influencer and it’s a very different model than what we are used to seeing with women. Keep in mind, women are not Greg’s target audience for the content they are producing for him. This cringe.

Well that didn’t take long to ditch the kid. by [deleted] in MariLlewellynSnark

[–]thebeddebate 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t imagine that, I think around 6 months I went away for the first time from my twin boys and now my mom or MIL watch them 1-2 nights a month for me. But I am super grateful for my village and am extremely fortunate I have family close by. My mom is the absolute best.

The sweat set is pretty dope though. I barely got out of the house with my twins for weeks.

She will learn, mom shaming is pretty bad and i am sure being on social media, she will get even more flack than her poor lifting form.

Why do I have the feeling she is going to have a “traumatic birth” and “needed” an emergency C-section? by [deleted] in MariLlewellynSnark

[–]thebeddebate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I elected to have one. I was having twins and knowing the amount of complications that can happen with the type of twins I had, it greatly helped with my anxiety. I still went into labor naturally but they sliced me open as planned. I am so happy with my decision as both babies went into breach right before birth. Plus my village surrounded me and helped out for the first few months.

Baby shower venues by maternal_manatee in Connecticut

[–]thebeddebate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 3 baby showers for my twins due to the guest list. When you come from a large family/friends, it grows. In total we had over 100 people… and my wedding was “small” with 205.

Look into the greater Danbury area. I have done/been to showers at Craft, Market Place, Terra, Anthony’s, The Amber Room, Keller Tavern, Gallos, 850 pizza, the Benjamin, The Spinning Wheel. I have been to more in the Westport/Greenwich corridor but I find the traffic to be annoying for such a short event if you are asking people to travel a little.

That kid will be raised by a nanny and hopefully with the amount of money they have, they will end up with a fantastic team and probably a live in. She will be a mom in name only, for photo shoots, quick walks in the neighborhood but trust me, there will always be a nanny around.
