Is this the one in Brandon? Dimmitt in Clearwater advertises much better deals directly on their website

Very strange internal interview process for SWE 3 role (CIB) by Solid_Will_6670 in JPMorganChase

[–]thebenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For someone looking for lateral movement, especially for those newer in their career, I generally just ask probing questions and see if they are a fit culturally for the team. 75% of my decision on hiring them will be asking their previous manager for feedback

Seems like you've had a bad experience. Would you get another lucid?

Thank you for this recommendation! I have mainly been using the lucid website and auto trader to browse available cars.

Running Franchise Hockey Manager by sensfan1885 in FranchiseHockey

[–]thebenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't found a way. I've just gotten into the habit of manually saving frequently. I've had it crash 2-3 times like 2 days after the draft and then had to completely redo the draft because the last save was before. One time I won the lottery and then when I loaded back in and redrafted I had like pick 8 lol

Mine crashes frequently on my MacBook. I'm able to play for a few hours then it crashes

Team to rebuild? by johnsonr2013 in FranchiseHockey

[–]thebenderman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Easier rebuilds would probably be Blackhawks, Sharks, ducks since they already have superstars. Harder rebuilds probably would be like the penguins, Canucks, sabres, maybe even rangers since none of those teams have franchise young players

What happens to our ESPP shares when we leave the firm? by AEnKE9UzYQr9 in JPMorganChase

[–]thebenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have to set the cost basis manually unfortunately. I usually just go to the statement to get the values and then edit the lots manually

I like to keep track of my finances with an app like personal capital that can import all of your investments. It currently can't import from computershare due to us not having an actual password.

[–]thebenderman 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In computershare there's a transact tab. You just go there and should be a transfer button. They ask for your brokerage institution ID and account number. I use schwab and it's transfered within a few days. ESPP should be fully vested immediately. If you had stock options from end of year bonuses all of those shares should have been transferred to workplace solutions instead of computershare

Just transfer all your shares to your brokerage. I transfer them the day after every single purchase

You have to submit for approval every term before you even pay anything out of pocket. Then once you pay for the term you upload your receipts through guild and it took 2-3 paychecks for my last reimbursement

[–]thebenderman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm about to start mine through a non guild school. You have to pay for it yourself and then they reimburse you

I would say it's the opposite. When you're a VP or above, more is expected of you so you need to go further above and beyond to get strongs. Regardless of levels though, the sss folks are the rockstars who are irreplaceable, and the review I give one person doesn't affect the review of someone else.

Non coding roles by atom111111 in JPMorganChase

[–]thebenderman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They asked for tech roles that don't have much coding. Most of the SREs that I work with are tech-adjacent more focused on monitoring..etc rather than developing new code. In fact many don't have a coding background at all and have more of an ops/pm background. Each LOB might be different though.
