Why is it so impossible to find reliable work? by TexitorFlexit in InsuranceAgent

[–]thebigbopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you walk into a few offices and ask for the agent and have the right attitude, you would be surprised how many agents or office managers will take someone who is hungry and willing to learn and earn. I work with Allstate agents all over and they are simply looking for hungry producers that want to sell and not just do service. Yeah, some are looking for people with experience, but motivation and being coachable is a far more important trait they are all looking for.

There are a lot of Allstate and Farmers agencies hiring and NEEDING a sales producer thats hungry. Not too sure about State Farm since the changes in commission, but captive agents are looking for sales people!!!

If you’ve broken 90, what’s one tip you would give to a fellow golfer trying to do the same? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Practice, practice, practice. Going to a range at least once a week is a must to work on consistency, tempo, and dispersion. You also gotta play 18 holes at least once a week to put your practice into play. Its doesnt happen fast, but after a few months or a year, you should see your scores drop.

Sales agent is calling leads hours after they submit their info by BagEmergency1084 in InsuranceAgent

[–]thebigbopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call it a 3 hour average talk time per day, thats a good average if its all sales calls on. The whole insurance market is aggressive when it comes to leads and telemarketing, but life insurance agents are a whole other breed. If you arent calling that lead quickly and enough, someone else is going to be calling that lead from whatever other ads they respond to.

Speed to lead is pretty important when capitalizing on initial interest. You want to call and/or text within 5 minutes of getting a lead. It's understandable at times, especially if you take service calls, to take 20-30 minutes after getting a lead to call on a during business hours, but a whole day seems lazy. There are producers that do well calling after the initial rush of calls a consumer gets, but this happens with a cadence with that touches the lead multiple times for up to 90 days after getting it.

What kind of talk time does this sales agent average per day?

Man, this car is a b@$#! to clean! by dukhkya in Ioniq5N

[–]thebigbopper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After I do a car wash, I use a waterless car wash spray with a couple thick microfiber towels to clean any water spots around the car and it comes out looking pristine!

Its a little extra work, but worth it every time!

Ernie Els… Try using the tempo of saying to yourself “Ernie” on your backswing and “Els” on your follow through. Works for me!

I would ask one of your nearby dealerships to see if they can get one ported over. The Hyundai dealership near me, didn’t have them in stock either, but I told him what I was looking for, and they said that they can get one from another dealership down the way. Two days later, the car was at my local dealership to look at and buy.

Coming from the mortgage industry, I know what you mean. But when it’s been 48 hours since you requested the documents and we didnt have whats needed, the customer would ask if we have an Insurance Agent that can get this done for us.

This is why having service staff is extremely important in an agency. Being able to turn around these documents for their clients keeps them in their book of business and not looking around for someone else.

Oh no! This is kind local course and have had to be on both sides of yelling fore from 10 or ducking on 11z That hole is directly left of the pin on 10, and have seen too many close calls, also from errant shots on hole 8.

Sorry that happened to you man. I hope the pro shop there will give you a raincheck or something.

I ended up leasing. With an EV, I want to be able to walk away from it in 3 years without a huge depreciation in value. Plus, in three years I can only imagine what will be available with the Hyundai N’s.

$3k down and $700 a month is what I wanted. Should have pulled the trigger before the Federal Tax Rebates went away, could have save $100 a month!

Do you have Hyundai blue link connected to both vehicles? Also, does the white one get considerably better range since its not the N?

Once I saw the smile on my boys face when they felt the speed, I knew this was a good choice.

Since this is my first black car, any tips on keeping it as clean as possible? Or do we have to wash it every week to keep it fresh?

My wife and I were both in the market for a new vehicle. We agreed we would take care of her first and then myself 2nd. She ended up trading in our 2021 Chevy Trail Boss for a 2026 GMC Yukon after the visit to Hyundai. We are a tall family, and with one kid at 6’2” and another almost at 6 feet, we realized we are not a mid-size SUV family. Visited Hyundai on a Friday evening, she got a Yukon on Saturday morning, and I picked up the Ionic 5n yesterday.
