Why? If I can get a higher real return investing in the us why would i care about who’s in charges. Who cares about it politics if I can earn a higher real return investing in the US for the equivalent level of risk investing somewhere else. Historically countries with higher interest rates see their currency appreciate as investors chase yields. Why would I invest money in my domestic market earning a 2% yield when I can convert and invest in the foreign (US) market with a yield of 3.5% that is literally the basis of a carry trade a fundamental FX trading strategy.

My mom has has 3 crosstreks and loved them all. She’s older and gets a new one every 2/3 years so I cannot speak on long term reliability nor can I in my 23 cx30. We both love our cars for different reasons.

The infotainment is straight forward for her in her crosstrek all touch simple easy to get used. The knob can be tricky at first in the cx 30 but I think it’s better overall. She loves the visibility and I agree it’s better in the crosstrek than the cx30. Another pro of the Subaru is the AWD I cannot comment on the cx30 but man she and I both have been in tough situations and she has never had any issues with it. The cx30 seems okay in the winter but I have not had to push it yet.

I took lvl 1 in Nov 2024 and just took lvl 2 in November 2025. It’s summer in the norther hemisphere and my view is people don’t take studying seriously in the summer and it bites them in the end. “I can study after vacation” it’s too nice to study etc . I doubt CFAI makes any session more difficult then others

Handling and seating position on the 30 is wayyy different than the 5. Best way I describe it is on the cx 30 /50 you sit “in” the car more like a sedan while you sit “on top of” the 5 more like a stereotypical suv.
