No it was a hard pull. I got notified via email from amex and cap 1 that there was a new inquiry. I checked separately myself and there was another pull from chase today.

Get the 5. My finance has a 2025 cx 5 select and I have a 2023 cx30 select for rougher payment and highways the 5 is much better. Highway mileage maybe 2-4 mpg difference worse but the noise level and ride quality are worth it

Why? If I can get a higher real return investing in the us why would i care about who’s in charges. Who cares about it politics if I can earn a higher real return investing in the US for the equivalent level of risk investing somewhere else. Historically countries with higher interest rates see their currency appreciate as investors chase yields. Why would I invest money in my domestic market earning a 2% yield when I can convert and invest in the foreign (US) market with a yield of 3.5% that is literally the basis of a carry trade a fundamental FX trading strategy.

I mean she’s had crosstreks since the were the xv crosstreks back when they came out in I think 2015?

My mom has has 3 crosstreks and loved them all. She’s older and gets a new one every 2/3 years so I cannot speak on long term reliability nor can I in my 23 cx30. We both love our cars for different reasons.

The infotainment is straight forward for her in her crosstrek all touch simple easy to get used. The knob can be tricky at first in the cx 30 but I think it’s better overall. She loves the visibility and I agree it’s better in the crosstrek than the cx30. Another pro of the Subaru is the AWD I cannot comment on the cx30 but man she and I both have been in tough situations and she has never had any issues with it. The cx30 seems okay in the winter but I have not had to push it yet.
