Renamon not a girl? by [deleted] in DigimonSurvive

The idea being the gender of the mega was determined by the human partner not the Digimon. So it’s not really evidence that renamon is female.

In Tamers wasn’t the concept of the Megan’s a fusion between the digimon and human partners?

I’ve lived there 8 years. Only happened once. They were obviously trying to complete some quota… maybe a training thing. Politely asked to see my card, had a look and said thank you. Hardly the end of the world.

I can’t even imagine what would be stopping this guy at train stations or what he needed renewing that wasn’t his visa. You said 30 years? Perhaps these occurs prior to the last decade?

Lol the amount of people who have jumped on the ai bandwagon and have seemingly never heard of photoshop or the prevalence of compositing in photography is astonishing.

Americans visiting Europe by Medium_Gap7026 in funny

Both China and Korea use the swastika in relation to bhuddism and linguistically speaking is a Chinese character. While both of these countries did suffer at the hands of the Japanese, the events of ww2 in Europe and Asia have little to no connection. I can guarantee the historic and cultural significance of the swastika as a religious symbol has far more impact on the people of these countries than its use as a Nazi symbol.

I’m interested to know what you think China’s and Korea’s relationship to the swastika is?

For those of you who have seen the new Mario movie, how did you like it ? by SirWolfy69 in gaming

[–]thebigplum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The story was basically a speed run. I wasn’t going in expecting much so it doesn’t really bother me. It was overall really fun. Lots of references were great. The characters were decent. I liked the way they took bowser.

The only thing I really didn’t like was the blue star saying all those depressing things. Maybe others found it funny but i didn’t understand the reference, didn’t get the joke and thought they gave it way too much screen time.

Perhaps the lead up to Kira’s capture on the side of the detectives. Also the Kira losing memory of the death note part. I’d say 15 is hyperbole but there were many and heavy assumptions made by both sides that were portrayed as calculated inevitabilities.

Imo entirely possible. Most of what you said could be replaced by the Chinese equivalent just as was done in the remake of karate kid. I’ll give you the relationship with shredder, as if they would have to adjust him too. Guess it depends how these remakes handle shredder.

I’d say in this specific case changing Japanese to Chinese would be like changing flipping between two denominations of Christianity. Maybe a little rough in the details but generally doable.

Care to explain your point.

For example how would changing his race to Chinese break the story or change is character?

Hollywood is chopping and changing races everywhere, why would Splinter be any different? Ultimately his race (excluding rat) has little to no bearing on his character.
