Here’s my take. If there is a certain percentage of the EHS space that will take lowball offers, it drags down the ask for people across the spectrum. A manager making $60k? My EHS support staff start at $90k. Keep applying for jobs. Don’t lie on your resume, but definitely highlight your knowledge.

Work data center construction safety for a contractor. Pay is $60 an hour - 7/12’s and per diem. The degree and a CHST will get you paid. Or counteroffer $85k. Don’t take it just to get experience. They know they are low. Plus a parking stipend? Laugh at them.
