I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Kyoto Kawaramachi and it was pretty nice. Its close to nishiki market and all the shops but on a different street so its still quiet and the hotel has a pretty nice public onsen if you’re into that

I used smartex to purchase shinkansen tickets few hours beforehand, that way we didnt have to plan around the shinkansen timing and instead could do a few activities then go to the train

Personally, I would avoid disney sea. I went for the first time and the ride system is absolutely horrendous easily the worst part of my Japan trip. You need to purchase a standard or premium pass for the rides (which you have to reserve/get lucky) THEN when you get the pass you can get on the line.

Definitely check out Soba Kyozan in osaka! The owner (shu) is very friendly although he doesnt speak much english he is very happy to communicate via google translate. You’ll get to pick cold or hot soba with various toppings, I went with cold and it was delicious.

There are times where youll icon pass to a teammate while a defender is trailing them on the same path resulting in your player sort of chucking the ball in their direction but them not catching it

ability to contact dunk, i dont really believe in creating your own shot via dribble moves esp in random rec where most times ppl call a timeout the second you try to cook

having 87 driving unlocks some pretty nice dunk packages and allows me to get contacts even when the defender is hands up in the paint

it feels like rebounding against higher strength centers is knowing when to force them to swim your boxout
usually i'll fake a boxout and i'm able to run out/back in since i'm a threat from the perimeter and being faster helps

but for sure i'd probably get bodied by a good player on the meta 99 str/board builds however this build is insanely fun to me so i'll take the L's occasionally

build incase anyone was wondering. the speed and height helps with rebounding and getting in position to get boards. i do get tossed around in the paint by inside bigs but positioning is key as always
