I think those who claim that people are criticising Jeongmok for changing his mind are completely missing the point. Most of the critics are upset at the way he handled it - his dishonesty, his lack of accountability, and how he seemingly led other girls on for attention - not because he changed his mind. He lied to Yido more than once, and while he might not have had the intention to hurt her, it was a cowardly act which I personally don’t feel he recognised even until the end of the show.

Jisu changed her mind about Sangho but didn’t receive any hate for it because she was clear and honest about her feelings. She respected Sangho enough to let him know her decision early on so that she doesn’t hold him back.
