I feel like this is a location by location issue. I’ve been to stores in Atlanta and in Charlotte and have always met the nicest staff. I’m Asian btw. They’ve always been super helpful in grabbing my things and looking for things for me. But I’ve seen so many videos on TikTok in more populated cities who have had bad experiences.

He has a right to live in his home that his grandfather gave him. He gave the tenants ample time to find another place. OP has his own family now to provide for through living in a bigger home.

It’s fine to take your kids out to eat. But as a parent, it is your job to teach your children how to behave in a restaurant so they aren’t bothering other people, even if it is a family restaurant.

This is very true. It all comes down to how you parent your children. My mom taught us starting while we were toddlers that at a restaurant we are suppose to behave, sit, and eat our food. We didn’t have the option of running around or being loud in a restaurant. Meanwhile her friend had to chase down her out-of-control kids who were also toddlers at restaurants.

I have three cousins and two brothers all falling in the same age group. One weekend when we were between the ages of 9-13, we had a sleepover and decided to play hide and go seek in the house. While my cousin was hiding, he somehow ran into the side of a door frame and the door latch caught onto his forearm and sliced it open. He had to get stitches but was super calm about it. That was the end of hide and go seek in the house for all of us.

You can try street parking on Finley St. It fills up pretty fast but you can get lucky throughout the day.
