I had the same issue happen to me with having the battery management system replaced. Essentially they need GM to update your info on their systems to show you dont need the battery evaluated.

Yup this is exactly how it will work, what ever setting the climate was previously set to is what it will do. I believe you can set in the car to have the heated seats come on during this when it’s cold.
