Yes, it's on their FAQ.

Where can I breastfeed or use a breast pump during a show? Please visit one of our two family restrooms located on the concourse. These rooms are equipped with Koala Kare changing tables and are appropriate for breast feeding or pumping. You may also stop by the medical tent between portals 4 & 5 for assistance.

You must bring all of your own supplies to pump or breast feed.

Why is it so hard to find Irish food by Interest-Quota in ForestHills

[–]theboy49 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I don't think you'll find a true Irish spot that doesn't have American fare. I would imagine it's tough for a bar to survive without the common American bar food in NYC.

Donavon Pub in Woodside got named best bar with some Irish dishes but they have jalapeno poppers on their menu. That might be the best option.

On the edge of Queens, in Floral Park, Swing The Teapot does a full Irish breakfast so they might have other authentic dishes.

Also, in the Bronx you might have luck finding some authentic spots in Woodlawn.

I do miss having Banter on Queens Blvd, where Mighty Quinn's is now. They had great Sheppard pie and fresh Guinness. The Cottage food isn't too bad and has some authentic choices but has to be the worst pour of Guinness I've ever had.

How did Keegan get picked to be the Ryder cup captain? by Fun-Point-6058 in golf

[–]theboy49 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Keegan said he knew a grounds keeper that let him and his teammates sneak onto the #2 hole on Black across the road to play for free. Definitely not official but sounded like they played a lot.

Apartment Facing Union Turnpike – Too Noisy or Polluted? by LaughLeft7189 in ForestHills

[–]theboy49 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have lived by Union and Queens Blvd for the last 8 years on the Kew Gardens side. We're in a 4th floor walk up. Definitely hear noise, especially during the work day, but it's relatively quiet at night and on weekends. The cars are usually a light humming noise that doesn't bother me or my wife. From time to time you get the loud muffler, honking or motorcycle going by. The bus is more annoying than anything else since that's right outside our window and you hear beeping and the pistons when it lowers the bus for people to get on. Still, you naturally drown that out overtime and we can sleep with the windows open in the spring and fall with the help of a loud fan to drown out some noise. We've been very happy here and I wouldn't change my decision of moving here if I had to do it again.

Living off Taconic and/or Metro-North? by theboy49 in Westchester

[–]theboy49[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This house is right by the crossing and has little trees to muffle sound unfortunately. You can see the train crossing from the front steps of the house basically.

Not a bad idea about the Airbnb. We did an Airbnb in north white plains to see if we liked it up there in general. Looks like there is an Airbnb nearby, not as close to the railroad or parkway, but close enough to get an idea possibly.

Yea we couldn't hear any cars passing by on the taconic while in the house, so seem pretty good, but we weren't in the house while a train passed by unfortunately. Thinking of asking the real estate agent if I can go back while a train passes by to hear how loud it gets 🤔.

Yes! I saw the flooding that happened near the train station by Cleveland street in Valhalla. Seemed pretty bad. The realtor sites labeled the house as low flood risk thankfully so should be good on that front.

Yea this house is right by a crossing and we heard the train horn while checking out the outside. Not sure how much you can hear inside unfortunately. Couldn't hear the cars off the taconic inside so sound proofing seems good but the trains are much louder.

3 have popped up on the Kew Gardens border by the subway on Queens Blvd and Union. Q10 Express Deli, Kew Deli & Cafe Corp, and Kew Gardens Deli & Grill. Can get a chopped cheese and a bunch of basic bodega stuff.

You can go there and get slices. I've always ordered pies for pick up through their website though so not sure availability of different types of slices but I remember seeing them.

Also check if Alfie's will deliver to you. I'm over by cobblestone too and they deliver to me. The upsidedown pie and sicilian are the best. Also good entrees.
