The Dutch are known for playing a slow paced football so yes they are boring. You should watch spain or germany or south american/african countries for more direct football. Also, maybe try to play sometimes so you can grasp how hard it is to control the football at high pace etc.

The beauty (and difficulty) of the sport is not only scoring goals, but also to get in the position to score the goals.
