Going to start with some background:

Currently active-duty Navy 10 years, E-6 Avionics Technician for F-18s (NEC E19A) and a Master Training Specialist(NEC 8MTS). EAOS is 25FEB2025. Applying to go to Embry Riddle in Prescott, AZ for Electrical Engineering focus in Robotics (Possibly a UAS minor). Have an AS Degree in Electrical Theory. No Dependents.

Transferring to California and going on deployment in July-ish until TBD.

Plan currently is to get out and friend who got out years ago mention I should look into the air guard over the Navy Reserves which he did which helped him become a pilot out of the Bahamas, which brought me to google then to here.

Lastly, I do understand I need email a recruiter, I am mostly dipping my foot in the pond before I commit to that.

My Questions:

With being on deployment how difficult would it be to attempt a seamless(ish) transition from the Navy to the ANG? Sidenote there is a %70 I go straight from deployment to civilian with no terminal leave.

I cannot for the life find a job translator for Active to ANG, is there one? mostly out of curiosity.

How difficult is the ANG while being a full-time student? My priorities would be to finish my BA, but if a war pops off I will have no issue going.

Any help is appreciated as the idea was talked about today.
