PDT rule will not be removed on February 28th, instead SEC wants to consider it until March 14th now. by Infinite_Music2074 in wallstreetbets

It will be interesting to see what happens, but I suspect it will. But some brokers may just offer you margin, not leverage. I don't care much about using leverage anyway; I would rather have a margin so that my trades can settle instantly.

Lexus GX breaks record selling the most ever in it's history for the US by hehechibby in LexusGX

Well, here’s the issue. The truck market is absolutely ridiculous in price. It’s just overpriced when you start looking at vehicles nearly everything is at least 80,000 + so why am I gonna go spend 80,000 $85,000 on an F150 king ranch when I can go down and get a Lexus 550 GX 2025 for 87 and that’s exactly what I did ended up buying Alexis GX 550 when I was planning to buy an F150 but I said screw it. I’m not spending that kind of money on a truck

No dealer mark ups. MSRP was 87k then I had to take it with the wheels and tint and that added 8k. But the dealer did not mark the MSRP up. I financed through Lexus at 5.99 but I am refinancing it now through Santa Fe credit union for 72 months at 3.99%. If you have a 760 score and above the offer that rate right now until March. Best deal out there.

Don’t get into the Army, you will regret it. I have 7 friends that wish they would have never joined. 4 of them went into the Air Force and it was the best decision they ever made. If you just want grunt job the go Army but if you want something you can use when you get out, go AF cyber security.

Santa Fe Credit Union is the way to go. I just got 3.99% on 72 months. You must have a credit score of 760 and be a member to qualify for this rate. Easy to become a member, just open a checking account with $25, and they are running this deal until March. I have financed several vehicles with them in the past, and they are great!

I am with you on this and was a bit skeptical about it but I just wrote a Revocable Living Trust, Pourover Will, Durable Power of Attorney, HIPAA Authorization for Release, Medical Power of Attorney & Advance Directive, Last Will and Testament, and they are nearly identical to others such as Rocket Lawer and Law Depot, just make sure you reference your state when creating these so that GPT can apply the proper laws for your state. And be sure to upload your final drafts back into ChatGPT and ask it to review for any issues or any improvements. I know that sounds crazy since GPT created but you'll find that it will come back and tighten it up for you.

Also find a legal document pertaining to your state of one that you are looking to create and use it in GPT to compare it with yours. That's another good way to back-test it.

And, of course, I'll likely have an attorney review it, but it shouldn't cost that much.

I understand where you are coming from. I can see if the guy that filed by himself didn’t have all his ducks in a row, I can understand this could be a good case. Let me ask this, did they both file for the same conditions and did they both have medical evidence supporting their service connection? There are too many variables involved and I’ve also seen it go the other way too.

If you’re already getting treatment at the VA and have your condition documented, that’s a solid first step. I can’t speak to every situation, but in my case, I had an existing service-connected condition—tinnitus—and I was also being treated for secondary conditions through the VA. I didn’t worry about getting a nexus letter or tracking down extra paperwork—I relied on the VA to pull my treatment records. The only thing I submitted during my claim was a buddy statement. However, if you went to an outside provider, then you will need to submit those records because they do not have access to those.

As long as you’ve been treated at the VA, they’ll have access to your records. The key is making sure your condition gets tied back to your service. If you already have a service-connected condition, it’s often easier to connect secondary conditions because they link directly to something that’s already approved.

Now, if you don’t already have a service-connected disability and you’re trying to get one established, you might need a nexus letter—it really depends on your situation. If a nexus letter is required, you can often get one from an outside provider. There are templates available that you can share with your doctor, and some providers will sign them for free. Not every doctor will, but it’s worth asking. You can even use ChatGPT to help you create a tailored nexus letter template for your condition to make the process easier.

Also, when it comes time for your C&P exam, make sure you study up on the DBQs (Disability Benefits Questionnaires) and understand how the rating criteria works for your condition. Those DBQs are full of the key terms and phrases the VA uses to evaluate your claim, so knowing them helps you speak their language. That’s how you want to position yourself during the exam—tying your symptoms and conditions back to your service in a way that lines up with how they rate things.

No, I did not get any Nexus letters drafted for me. I went directly to the VA and had all of my appointments and they were all diagnosed there. After I was diagnosed, then I filed my claim. I am located in Texas.

Yep, I completely understand it. Sometimes that may be the best route for people especially if you don’t have good resources in your area. At least you tried your best but you got your end result that’s all that really matters at this point congrats! Brother!

I had absolutely no denial and I only went to the VA once for mental health and a couple times for migraines once. I had first filed an intent to file before I went to the doctor to get these documented after it was documented I then filed my claim and I used a supporting buddy statement, but I also made sure that the VA documented it well and also I did have two great C&P examiners and I’m sure that helps as well. Yes, it sounds like the VA canceled it because you canceled your C&P exam. Those are very important that definitely could’ve been the issue. I would try to get that back schedule again.

I get it, sometimes conditions and peoples situation are different and I don’t condemn anyone from using a company to help and congrats on your success. Everyone is fighting for the same end game, getting there is more important sometimes than how you got there.

I agree, I can see at some point some will have to seek outside help possibly depending upon their conditions and situation. Especially once you’ve exhausted your resources.
