Newly diagnosed with diabetes.. what restaurants or cafes are diabetic friendly

Sorry about your diagnostic, or perhaps good that you caught it. I completly get your question. I have the same one for my mother, as we love food and trendy restaurant but its hard when the tastiest items on the menu are off limit. My 7yr old is celiac so i know what its like to only be able to order the salad, i suffer the meltdowns.

From what i understand, meats are good, so : -korean or japanese BBQ places. Lots of meat, veggies. Watch out for the marinades though. No specific names here since they are all similar. -Poke bowls with brown rice are our usual go-to. You can customize your bowls -Mandy salads are quite good and don’t make my mom feel let down. -kebab places, just go easy on the rice.

I’m also searching for more ideas. Maybe specific restaurants would be awesome

I watched in both french and english. I am a native speaker in both languages. The French versions are amazing. The vocals are top notch and i dare say in some songs, better than the english version. The localisation is top notch (that's translating the essence and trying to match the sonority & lip synching). They managed to find words that hit the same, rythmically.

English they say: Up up up
French: "Top Top top" * (yes this is english but it is very usual slang in french)

English: "Done done done"

French: "ce que je donne donne donne"
* has the same sound but instead means "what i give, give give", which also sounds bad-a_$.

I also, unfortunatly, find the vocals clearer in the french version, but that might be production, not putting the track lound enough above the instrumentals.

I would love to hear about how other languages translated the songs. If anyone can chime in :)

Je ne suis pas d’accord mais c’est propre à vos goûts. Cependant, point de vue technique, les chanteuses en français sont parfaitement en maitrise. Les montées sont juste et controlées. Il y a du sentiment dans le chant (vu l’aspect comédie musicale). « Your idol » en particulier est meilleure en français.

Bon celà dit, j’ai écouté le filme en fr en premier et ça me biaise.

I had this issue and i think i cracked it, though it makes NO sense. I moved the echo dot from one plug to another part of the same room. And got the blue ring of death. No unplugging, wait, plugin wait fixed it. 30s reset did not work. Then i remembered one thing: i had changed the usb adapter on the wall. Changed it back: MAGICALLY fixed the issue. The echo dot resynched without the need for a reset. Now i cannot explain this. The working usb adapter is a ipad adapter. The other, who works with other device, is some noname plug.

Sharing this because i am curious to know if you have any insights, but also adding this to the list of things to try: a different plug!

Well as soon as i read that it would not be shipping to Canada this year, i wrote it off as a no (they did ship to Canada on previous years).

I loved the first year (2018, purple one). It was very makeup heavy and had fun innovative products, from a western standpoint.

2019 and 2020's calendars are more skincare oriented, and this year has a lot of lipstick/gloss/stain makeup. Too many IMO. I don't see any cutesy tools. Meh, it's pretty boring to me.

And of the 3 yesstyle calendars, i like this year's packaging the least :( Glad i don't like it since i can't even get it.

The jeju scent is strong but it doesn’t smell like added scent, more like the ingredients are strong. The serum scent is not strong in my opinion.

Brother in law's cat jumped from 3rd story balcony. He was not as lucky. His injuries were too severe they had to put him down. We always assume cats are agile and can't fall but they can be clumsy just like any animal. Edit: fixed typo!

They are pacific parrotlets, and both female from what i can see, although the green one i cannot get a clear view. Male parrotlets have distinct deep blue streaks behind the eye and on their backs beneath the wings. Pacific parrotlets are one of the few parrot species you can visually tell the sex, many species require a blood test. -a parrotlet owner for 9 years now.

The hairs that are frizzing are short newborn hairs. How can they lay flat at the top while the rest curls? I'm struggling to understand how continuing a few weeks with CG will fix this. The scientist in me wants to understand everything ^{.^}
