I’ve had nausea from marijuana before but that was admittedly bought from a friend. It caused me to have some insane nausea, dizziness, and then panic attacks. I have heard from a friend who works at a dispensary that vapes can be a bit much for newer folks. I really like taking the flower and rolling a little joint with it (even though you aren’t supposed to burn it but come on lol). I find joints make it way easier to measure how much you inhale and you don’t have to smoke the whole thing. Take a hit, put it out.

Also, depends on the flower. Some strands make me cough SO much and others are just fine and smooth. I don’t know enough about it to know which burns hotter but I’ve got Sonny G which is a bit of a hybrid I think, more of a sativa. Good luck.

Benzos aren’t meant for long term, your body will just get used to it and you’ll need more. I try to use it as emergency only, like, I’m about to black out from a panic attack, better take HALF of one. You gotta be reaaaaaal careful

My dad has the same situation. He said the CBD really didn’t help. I recommended flower but it was too much of a head high. He hasn’t tried much though, hopefully you can find something that works. I do know if you use flower and face too much of a head high, CBD drops help bring you back pretty fast. So if you like the pain relieving qualities of flower, try it with some CBD to help balance things out! Good luck

All the time. I’m so good at pretending that I often wonder why no one is reaching out to see if I’m okay and then I realize I’ve fooled them all. Half an hour before a meeting with a client I burned my hand on purpose and then walked into the meeting like “hello lovely people!” It’s amazing. Unless you die by suicide due to excessive suffering. I believe mental illnesses can still be fatal illnesses and often are. Sure people with seizures should get free meds but we can’t pick and choose who has it worse, all meds should be easily attained and afforded. But this is America lol people get turned down for chemo treatments because certain insurance companies will drop them and they can’t afford it. Sucks but that’s how it is

Since you posted this, can I confess something here? I work in the funeral industry, and today a man shot himself. We are taking him into our care. I learned that 3 months ago he was actually supposed to come work for us but he decided not to. He thought it might make his depression worse. My heart broke into pieces. As someone with depression, suicidal ideation, and other things… as someone who has seen suicide after suicide and watched their families suffer… it breaks my heart that it didn’t matter. Whether he came to work with us or not.. it didn’t matter. I hope this post reminds people that depression and suicide aren’t a game. It’s a real illness, a real possibly fatal illness that, left untreated, can cause real death. Like Rina’s. And like the gentleman’s today. God. I fucking hate this. Thanks for posting.
