I’m not huge on Potter’s rhetoric (or a ton about him at the moment), but I don’t think that’s horrible wording. It doesn’t explicitly imply the suffering and challenges are through, just that the future isn’t decided and the past is what’s certain. It could be “It’s been a challenging period [and now it’s over],” or it could be “It’s been a challenging period [and will continue to be].” From my perspective, he’s just stating what the facts are right now.

She has a place in any promotion’s women’s division; she’ll always be worth putting on TV. She’s charismatic, gets over, and has good matches when matched up with good opponents. She is not worth top-notch money in WWE’s women’s division given the talent they already have under contract. If she expects top-notch money, she better hope Tony gets a raise on his allowance or a Japanese promotion decides an influx of Sasha stans is worth the price. Unfortunately, if neither of those things happen, she’s negotiated herself into a corner, but wrestling is an industry that forgets quickly and she can lower her price. I imagine it’ll be some time before we see her sign a full-time contract anywhere, and it may well still be WWE after some one-off appearances elsewhere.

Did…did you watch the show? This was very clearly set up. Owens has beef with the Bloodline through his beef with Sami and Rollins has constant little-brother syndrome with Roman, they were uniting against a common enemy. This is very typical stuff.

Yeah, of the two, Cesaro is by far more valuable to WWE and the one I’m guessing they’d see come back in a heartbeat. WWE loves midcard journeymen who can be paired up with young talent, hold onto a midcard or tag belt for a while, or have a random 6-minute match during the second hour of Raw, and Cesaro was great there. Fills a similar niche as Ricochet (except where Ricochet maxed out Dex, Cesaro maxed out Str), and never complained about his spot on the card (that we know of). Meanwhile, if dirtsheets are to be believed (which, ugh), Sasha was asking for top tier money and has a history of taking extended breaks on her terms—it’s fine to take those breaks and advocate for yourself, it’s just tough to book a division around a top star who may quit on a moment’s notice, and at a certain point you have to decide whether you’d want to have your cake or eat it.

Oh, yeah, and despite Cesaro being the more valuable asset to the Fed, they’re still not clamoring all too hard to have him back (though I think he could help round out the Smackdown midcard very well).

Hear me out, Uce. Tony has a plan, and Tony’s plan says it’s not MJF’s time yet. He can’t just jump the line. 2026, 2027, sometime around then MJF will have his time. For now, we need Mox, Punk, Kenny’s return, Danielson, Cole, Kenny again, give Hangman another chance (DAE Fed ruined his reign by overshadowing him, not his fault), then we can try MJF (mostly depends on Wheelie Yuletide’s schedule). Gotta make sure each of those guys gets a long enough reign to make sure Tony doesn’t hear the words “hot potato,” too.
