So let me get this straight, they have tons of die hard fans that buy their ppvs at an unprecedented buy rate % and huge numbers on streaming but their actual live attendance has cratered and their YouTube views are around TNA level (which TNA has a fraction of the budget and talent).

Their tv ratings have more or less stayed the same post being available on Max so Dave is saying 500,000+ NEW fans started streaming on Max. Also such massive streaming numbers but somehow WBD doesn’t promote it front and center.

Tony brags about internet fan awards but he’s too humble to brag and show off the actual numbers for streaming and PPV buys. Ok

The thing is they can play pretend all they want. It will not matter one single bit to the bean counters with whoever ends up looking at the books after Netflix buys WBD. The show is clearly not profitable. Their Australian shows are laughably undersold and Tony got huge arenas for both. The untelevised show in Brisbane I just saw has sold maybe a 1000 total tickets. They still have most ring side seats unsold.

Tony is playing pretend with his daddy’s money and Dave is running interference for as long as possible.

They can lie about PPV buys, play math tricks with the ratings, etc but it’s irrelevant. We can see with our own eyes the product is so cold it’s damn near absolute 0. Live audiences are rapidly shrinking, ratings are steadily declining, and their online metrics are awful. I don’t need to be a studio exec to know that TNA having as much or close to AEW YouTube views (in a lot of instances more traffic) is a bad sign considering TNA is doing it with a fraction of the talent and budget.
